Is this what's causing the 5 second pause between every hand? I turned off the rabbit cam, but it's like the dealer dozes off between every hand.

This has to be killing rake for ACR, what are they doing?

ACR still full of bots and pros?

Just in case this helps anyone else.

ACR was complaining I was running vmwp.exe

killing vmp.exe via the windows task manager details screen caused a BSOD (blue screen of death)

It turns out ACR was actually starting this process to see if it existed, I assume checking the capability. In other words to make sure you didn't stop it then start it after ACR had started

None of this is documented as far as I could find.

vmwp.exe was caused by running the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL). Nothing nefarious. Even WSL --shutdown didn't work as ACR started it to test it.

So I had to disable WSL in 'add or remove programs' > 'Programs and Features' > 'Turn Windows Features on or Off' and reboot.

A total pain as I work in IT so need WSL for work, running docker, bash etc

Its also a concern as ACR feel they have the right to start unrelated processes on your machine. Who knows what other processes they are starting to check for existence. Any of these could be an attack vector. So not real happy here.

Anyway, hopefully saves someone from going the pain and going through 8 BSODs to figure it out

Does anyone really know if players from "banned" states such as Maryland, Kentucky etc are actually banned from playing on ACR. I've received mixed messages regarding whether these states are actually allowed or not. One customer service rep said sure and another said they were banned.

wtf!? this is insane! is this a new feature related to their pro using RTA? i tried to open the client the other day while i had pokerstove open and got an error message letting me know the client cannot be opened at the same time as stove.

regardless, does anyone know how i can get an old school rakeback deal added to my account? the rewards program looks like a bunch of nonsense. thanks in advance

While j was playing kept getting this message and have to re open my tables/
Now i just opened the client to see the sundays mtt lobbies and have the same problem

ACR is programmed by cavemen,, not surprising memory leaks happen in decades old C code.

Probably best to reinstall the client or force clear cache.

killing the client in task manager and restarting works for me

I think its more then bots. I come from the Ultimate Bet and FT Bull $xxx days. Just look at the company they use to certify there RNG. Acr puts a letter on the site that 5th grader could write.

Since last week they fixed a bug in the studs games.
Before, when you won or lost a hand and clicked "Sit Out" 9 out of 10 it wouldn't make you sit out, but would make you play the next hand with the ante etc etc grrrr! 😡
Now it works properly.

I read some of their twitter posts and they might have the same person for everything 😃

Has anyone figured out how to have the cash game waiting list settings remain saved from
session to session? Mine keep reverting back to .25/.50 6-handed.

Just received an email from True Poker....a skin of ACR saying they are pulling out of Louisiana (my state) and Mississippi and that my account is disabled from gameplay effective immediately but will still be able to withdraw any remaining balance until Monday July 21st

ACR will be gone completely within 5 years, IMO, or at very least banned in most states. Good riddance

usually people who run such big companies always think about future.
and the future and today of the world is Asia.
today the WPN rooms they have 2 big blocks of players: USA (and Canada) and Russia (and Ukraine, Belarus)
then there are 2 smaller blocks like Europe (UK plus some Austria, Poland, Cech etc) and Brasil (and some Argentina, Chile, Colombia etc)

They need to enter the Asian market and get players from China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia etc practically half of the planet's population

Came to this forum with a problem I encountered recently with a major poker site. I have a screen shot+recording of there being dealt out 5 deuces. Is this something that happens with the algorithm every now and then as I’ve never seen it or is proof of it being a scam? To be fair I’ve lost a lot of money on this site and I’m wondering if this is something I should pursue or leave alone.

now its $44 and $20k guaranteed

the tourney schedule itself is a shell of what it used to be. The site is dying, might be a slow death but it is dying. ClubWPTGold coming into play doesnt help them
