Las Vegas Poker Player Vlogs

This is the first video I’ve watched since the hair on floor incident. He is working five days a week at Orleans. Would probably buy five black polo shirts and wash during the off day, especially since three of the five days he is planning to double shift, so no time to wash, especially if he’s staying on the Strip. I did enjoy the laundry service at a laundromat in the Silver
Rest assured ELD will not buy five polo shirts. The odds on ELD buying more than two are slim.
I used to think Diesel and Bikeking were the biggest posers as far as "professional poker player" goes. We have a new clubhouse leader, PMAN.
Imagine actually needing an answer to this question and instead of ummmm calling the cage itself, you post this on social media. I guess you have to make use of your new bio touting you're a pro.
Is his dad funding his tourney package?
I see this with this with team ropers in rodeo. Go from jackpot to jackpot, basically like a tournament circuit, in a truck their parents bought, with fuel their parents pay for, on a horse their parents bought pretending to be a pro. They may pay an occasional entry fee, but almost always live at home or with girlfriends all the while pretending to be pros. Super clicky. Gotta
If you are referring to me as the Bob please don't lump Rice and I together. I worked in Texas for four years. My weight isn't going anywhere. In fact after a visit to a rheumatologist this week it looks tougher than ever. In addition to my back the doctor believes I may need hip replacement surgery as well. I also need cataract surgery.
I don't play poker professionally and I haven't since I left Vegas in January 2020.

I know huh.
I seriously think there's a chance Rice tries to buy only one black polo shirt.
I also think Rice only owns one pair of
black pants for work.
This guy Rice is cheaper and smellier than you even imagine.
I'm surprised Rice doesn't go the used clothing store route.
For the two jobs, anything less than a dozen t-shirts, 3 black work polo shirts, 2/3 WSOP work shirts, 4 pairs of work pants, and you're a smelly hoarder.
You can give a work shirt a quick sink wash and hang it up in the bathroom.
ELD does advocate physical labor jobs he advocated UPS dock loading in a prior video as well as riding a bike:

What the hell is a poker vlog? If it must contain boring commentary about every thought throughout a hand, then maybe this isn't one.

You can get a new riding mower for $1900, prob half that for used. Why not mow it yourself?

This does not bode well for playing Orleans tournaments this summer...
If Rice was smart he would apply for the current openings at Boulder Station and Santa Fe. He could get a retirement package if he makes it for a year. Why he doesn't want to leave Orleans is beyond me. He must think they can't survive without him.

He wants to work like 2-3 months a year and try to love o off of that money while bumming around the rest of the year.

Don’t understand why you changed what I wrote when quoting my post. Don’t quote my posts if you are going to edit and misquote something I never wrote.
I stated “Would buy five shirts…” as in that is what I would do given the circumstances.
He specifically stated he had to buy an all black golf shirt in his vlog, which indicates he is buying one. Left unsaid was the undeclared washing interval. It’s crazy, but not surprising.

I did enjoy the laundry service at a laundromat in the Silver Slipper Mall (RIP). They washed, dried and folded for you, which was very convenient when I had extended stays including a work stay, but that would blow up his laundry budget.
The Silver Slipper was the first place I played poker in a casino, a low stakes seven card stud game in the 1990s.
Your misquote:

Rice’s statement @ 3:03 per YT transcripts:
”I do need to go buy an all black golf shirt now”
I guess all those hundreds of thousands of subs and viewers of Rampage, Mariano, Brad Owen, Neeme, Jaman etc all like boring thought processes.
There’s a reason those vlogs are so popular and it’s not just cause they show every hand played with their thinking behind it.
It’s almost like it’s free training material or something and people like and want to get better.
Rice planning to wear the same shirt to work for a week straight doesn't crack top 50 of the strangest things that Rice does
I have a buddy that was dual rate for Orleans and I asked him about the dynamics.
Most of their experienced FT and PT live dealers refuse and essentially boycotted tourney downs a few years back (1. With numerous mixed game tourneys this leads to a particular subset of players that are very nuero/ocd 2. Tokes being paid in cash is a huge influence on these same dealers because many of them are slot pit degens).
This essentially created an entirely new tourney staff for wsop/winter/off season, they continually get people like rice because of the flexibility, ability to swap and pick up hours and leave early if you want. These other companies and rooms might let you leave early if the room is dead but being able to swap and trade without approval is a big no no most places. Its very relaxed and guaranteed total hourly is solid, sometimes better than the live side unless you are getting 40hands/hr.

I guess he never thought about calling Paris?

That's completely false. Most rooms don't give a hoot who works when. You can switch at will as long as the shift is covered.

I've played Orleans weekly HORSE tournament during non WSOP time....so yeah of course it was a bunch of locals but yeah pretty much what you'd expect a bunch of old men telling the dealer the hand that won. No way I could deal with that for hours on end. It's bad enough having to deal with it as a player. I have to give it up to anyone that can be a poker dealer you really have to put up with some dumb *hit.
