New Draft Idea: Fake Bands/Musicians From Movies/TV
Haven't had a good draft in awhile...so let's have one where we draft your favorite bands and/or musicians from the world of TV and film!
The only rule is that the band/musician cannot exist in the real world. They must be made up for the purpose of a TV show or movie. So The Beatles in Help! or The Monkees do not count, because they are real bands (even tho The Monkees began as a fake band).
So if a REAL band or musician plays a fictional band in a movie, that's fair game. But you can't have like Reese Witherspoon playing June Carter Cash, as that's a real person. The band or musician must only exist within the world of said movie or TV show.
One other stipulation is that said fake band must play at least a little bit of a song in the movie or TV show.

As I think about this there is a grey area "The Monkees rule" where bands started out fake and became real. There are more than a few of these.

It seems we’re at six now. Unless there’s a huge flood, why not cap it at ten six artist slates, as that was the usual number at most of the old bygone one day festivals?

I’m ready to go, even thought of a good theme. I only suggested ten teams to try this draft system, which does work fairly well for NFL season wins. Hey, it was late. Probably not necessary in this draft, though LOL is going to go far too high.
