Rashford to Barca rumour was not on my bingo card

Mbeumo to Man United speculation I saw yesterday. If they got him and Cunha would be quite the window already.

Expanded tweet says they also found items of food after their use by datesEdit : It's kinda rough Ratcliffe takes all the penny pinching stick, Levy was top of that class for years. Heard a story from an ex player he docked wages for every shirt they gave to a kid in the crowd at the end of a match.

At this point I wouldn’t be all that shocked if it came out that United’s increasingly **** performances end up being because of asbestos poisoning from their ancient facilities or heavy metal/rat **** poisoning from their canteen.

I am shocked however that Rashford can keep being lazy and fail upwards, first to a CL club and now apparently Barcelona.

you thought the end of the season would bring an end to the great munning of our time?

nope

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim believes it will do his players good to leave Kuala Lumpur with the sound of boos ringing in their ears after a 1-0 loss to ASEAN All-Stars.

in fairness it must be a massive drag to come to the end of a 55 or 60 odd game season and then have to immediately travel 6000 miles to run around in 35 degree 100% humidity conditions while getting booed by millennial asian GHWs

Asian man u fans getting an authentic experience

Brand Rashford is pretty big despite all of his **** performances. Rashford would probably do decent enough at Barca and also bring in a lot of €€€ in merchandise sales for them. Given all of the crazy money tricks Barca have pulled in recent years, it could be as much about marketing as anything else.

Would he?
I doubt many fans outside of the UK know who TF he is.

Oh, you’re one of them racists, are ya?

Manchester United getting battered wherever they go, home, away or really far away. Equality for all.

Betis appear to have subbed on a packet of Nerds

I take it back. Thought you were referring to something else. Apologies

Appreciated.

luckily manu have real winners like jadon sancho to save the club

Maybe Sancho can bring back some of his European trophy winning experience to Man Utd

Don't forget the open top bus parade prior to getting turned over by the Asian allstars. Very important.

I can't believe I actually thought peak Moyes.gif was going to be their low, it's really hard to say how many levels they are below that now.

United Malaysia tour seems to be going amazing.

Diallo flipped off the fans and Amorim visibly laughing in a press conference when someone asked if there’s any chance Garnacho stays.

I really hope he actually has the opportunity to gut like 75% of this squad. Finally perform the open heart surgery Ragnick said they needed three years ago.

He’s a good footballer when he decides to be and I’m sure he’d do just fine there…but I wasn’t aware he had much of a brand or personal following. I wouldn’t guess that he’d do much on the marketing side for Barca since they’re already obviously huge and who’s buying a Rashford kit instead of Gavi, Pedri, Yamal, etc…

Goldbridge pointed out an interesting bit I haven't thought of, if you get injured your are stuck at rehab instead of your holiday.

Well **** that let the asian farmers run past me and I'm off to Ibiza next. This post season game is such Ratking thig I'm sure he is the mastermind behind it and if not he wishes he'd thought of this first

We are seemingly in for Sesko again. Third time's the charm

ManchesterCity will win 2026 Premier League. It has to be the best team and now with Guardiola having a bad year, I have no doubt.

They need to retool this window. Aging roster and could be a number of the old guard leaving. But a full year of Rodri and (hopefully) a return to form for Foden should make a big impact

Coin flip if they win the league or get relegated

We will look back on this as a golden era of banter at ManYoo. May it never end.

17m followers on IG. While not the largest following, certainly nothing to sneeze at and he can be used for even more promotion by Barca. I could possibly be overrating it all, but there is certainly a marketable brand there.

Was it Amad as well? Garnacho definitely flipped off and the fans and I certainly won’t miss his Pogba-esque attitude(even if he does come good. He won’t come good at United and his attitude is trash).

I’m fully here for the open heart surgery if it’s to actually happen. Most of all, Sancho+Rashford+Garnacho all badly need to be shown the door. United can actually sell Sancho for like Β£15m and it would be considered break even with PSR rules given how long he’s been at United. Maybe that can mean someone in Germany or Italy will buy him.

Yamal is clearly a marketing bonanza. Definitely won’t disagree there. And as I said above, I could be overrating Rashford’s reach, but there is certainly something there to market for Barca. As you said, Rashford is pretty good when motivated. He probably would do well at Barca since the lower teams will just kinda let the big sides do what they want. His time at United is definitely at an end though. I wish him the best and hope he does well for whatever non-English side he may move to.

Pissflaps, half of our transfer budget has gone.

"West Ham United can confirm that the Club has been sanctioned by The Football Association, following the conduct of supporters at the Premier League away fixture at Chelsea on Monday 3 February 2025.

An independent Regulatory Commission has imposed an action plan, Β£120,000 fine and a warning over future conduct, after the Club admitted the charge of misconduct, in relation to abusive, offensive, discriminatory, homophobic chanting by supporters."

Yes, indeed, but the manager now will be fully focused probably in the team. His extrenal life will get more balance in the near future probably.

Getting Β£8.4m for Trent just so he can leave a bit early and then announcing Frimpong for Β£29.5m on the same day is incredible business.
