That being said, Israel and the US being able to provide aid directly to the Palestinian people without going through the UN really is a game changer.
The UN is the vehicle that Hamas uses to smuggle in all their weapons ands to steal much of the aid to sell on the black market. Without the UN supporting them, Hamas iron grip of terror is significantly weakened.
Major game changer. This may be the event that gets Hamas to the negotiating table seriously.
