I have absolutely no idea what could possibly be going through Real's minds to pay £8,400,000 for 30 days of TAA. What the hell am I missing?

Not massively tracking how this is a "scam", every streaming platform/TV channel's website etc gives you a free sample.

It sucks, but scam seems ridiculous.

If they win their group stage in the upcoming world cup for teams they already made even on that transfer. And having TAA instead of vazquez is extremely +ev. Plus a month extra to get used to Real Madrid and the new coach Alonso who is also already there for the WC teams. With that in mind and Liverpool getting something for an otherwise transfer-free player I think its a win-win this way. Its a lot of money for 30 days but could very well be worth it. Vazquez at RB is the nut low.

The prize money would have to be in the billions probably to make paying 8.4m for 30 days of upgrade at one of the lowest win-probability additive positions from Vazquez to TAA +EV lol. No way.

Maybe Liverpool were getting pressure from Saudi or something else, this is nutso.

I am a RM fan and Vazquez has been angering me all season. I'd say 8.4m is a steal:p

When winning every game the club earns 140 million Euros. So I get it that RM is risking some extra cash for TAA over Vazquez, even if it only a small quality increase overall. Especially in a season wtihout trophies which is quite uncommon.

Tongue in cheek and no info. Just my way of backing up the statement that it's bizarre and there must be some info we don't know about.

But anyone who tries to tell me that the value over replacement gained by having TAA over Vasquez in a stupid friendly tournament with bad teams is >8.4M is out of their mind

It's Madrid, they love making an entire circus out of signing new players. No doubt they are just desperate to have him out doing keepy ups and a big song and dance presentation at the competition.

The tournament doesnt end there now does it. He might play Doue or Dembele later on.

But I agree Atletico, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Juventus, Man City & PSG are bad teams. Especially PSG, i mean when is the last time they ever won something?

Like, when would Madrid ever gaf about being optimal when it comes to finances. They do stuff like this because they can. And pool get to rub the money on their nipples while laughing about it knowing that Frimpong is on rhe way

im not sure what optimal means but they keep spending way less money than you would expect. the story of the last many years is the clear needs they havent addressed

Basically Madrid can do Madrid things. They didn’t need to spend on Mbappe because they knew they’d get him. They basically shut out every other team for Camavinga because he made it clear Madrid was the only team he’d move to.

If paying Pool £8m to get in TAA now it’s because they can. Right now the possibility of taking down the Club World Cup with TAA on the side is worth more than whatever probabilities we want on this forum to think about right now. They want another trophy and they’ll do what it takes to get it.

And Pool are more than in their right to laugh about it as well.
