TV: what have you been watching?

I think The Walking Dead may be the best drama thats currently airing/in production.

Got to the end of Sopranos finally. The show was quite good. There were many episodes I didn't enjoy as they seemed way to artificial to drive a point, but overall it was fantastic.

sopranos was one of those original hbo appointment tv series back when waiting for the next sunday episode release was an outstanding calendar appointment

took a bit over three months to watch a full season and in nine more they damn near had the next one in the can ready for viewing

also revolutionized the quality of cast member choosing to record tv series instead of film

Vienna Blood- Crime drama about a English psychologist living in Austria who starts working with a police detective to solve murders. It's good.

I realize that I'm about a decade late, but Hannibal(Prime) is an amazing show.

Looking forward to this...

yes, please

season finale of Mobland:That was amazing. The scene between Kevin and Conrad in prison was spectacular. Best performances of both Brosnan and Considine's careers. They've always been great, but holy ****. And...Was wondering how they were going to realistically keep Jan with Harry...

I liked it. Toby Jones is great.

Frustrated a little with The Last of Us.

I think a lot of people are frustrated with The Last Of Us because season 1 was elite television, while season 2 was merely decent.

just finished 1883. It was excellent.

Just finished s1 of Foyle's War, an excellent show particularly if you like Anthony Horowitz's mysteries, and awesome guest stars from the 'aughts like Charles Dance and Anton Lesser, among others.

The team task in this week's Taskmaster had me rolling.

After getting my import, I am binge watching The Lone Gunman...

I love this show. The pre-credit sequence for episode 4 (Like Water For Oxygen) is one of my favourite scenes of TV ever. And episode 'Tango de los Pistoleros' is so great - where we find out Frohike is a Tango expert.

"My kung foo is better than yours!"

I just finished maximum byers... the inmate episode. Amazingly good and touching.

here you go:

Stick is entertaining, but the golf is about as realistic as the poker in most poker movies

yeah, Stick is not great...I like the cast and the vibe, but the writing is not great.

How is Bryce paying for this road trip exactly? The 100k he got from his ex went right to Santi's mom...for some reason.

I watched a couple episodes but probably not any more. You can see where it's going.

Saw the first two episodes of Patience. Not bad, but I recommend Astrid over Patience, which is a remake/ripoff/British version of the great French series.

Ellie and Dina were too plucky. It felt like watching Dawson's Creek or some ****, a show I enjoyed as a kid, but so out of place for this world."I'm gonna be a dad!" Ruined the whole season for me.

American Masters documentary on Hannah Arendt. Chilling. See it if you can since the American Masters series usually repeats the shows in the same week.

The Bear season 4 is outstanding. Feels like an arthouse MCU/Avengers joint coming together to make something beautiful.

Won't post any spoilers because I know we're all on our own schedules. I absolutely LOVED episodes 4 and 7 and love the way the season wrapped. This series is among my top shows of all time.
