President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
these issues constantly happen under Trump that don’t happen under other presidents. and everything was fine until Trump put flames on the fire. at some point you have to realize it’s a failure of leadership on his part.
A president can certainly inherit or be dealt a bad hand, and thus civil unrest can happen on his / her watch without necessarily being to blame.
But in this case, that is not what happened. Trump uses massive amounts of hateful rhetoric, regularly glorifies violence and is even willing to pardon thousands of violent rioters if he thinks they support him. Both in speech and in action, Trump both promotes and provokes violence.
So in this case of civil unrest and riots, it is indeed Trump's America.
then again, reading has never been a strength of yours
Trumpers understanding that the left doesn't think deportation is a bad concept, but Trump's mass deportation plan is racist, destructive, and evil challenge, difficulty: impossible.
Axelrod isn't wrong. Trump wants to provoke and induce the lefties into creating chaos. I'm amazed at how they take the bait every single time and give him exactly what he wants.
While everyone chooses their own actions and has to face the legal consequences of them, this is still a not a very good point.
Since an elected head of state and political leader holds a lot of reach and sway, he carries a lot responsibility when it comes to not "provoking and inducing chaos". Trump in particular due his wide reach on social media. While he might act like it, he isn't a random belligerent drunk at a local watering hole.
Also, even with that said your post is way too generous. Trump not only provokes chaos and violence, he also promotes it both in words and actions. He has pardoned thousands of people engaged in riots and unrest.
Someone: damn, I overcooked my steak
Victor, probably: dems always loved their steak while Obama was doing genocide
Yeah I never saw the outrage from CNN and MSNBC or democrat governors when Obama did it or changed policies to make it easier to deport
The reason Obama increased deportations of people being in the US illegally was to gain support from Republicans to allow DACA to be passed so over 1,000,000 children, who were brought to the US by parents who were not citizens, would become citizens. And the Republicans might have gone with it. But ultimately they said they wouldn't do it if ACA passed, which it did. So they said no to DACA.
So I believe Obama decreased deportations in his 2nd term.
The other reason people didn't object to Obama's or Biden's deportations is because they were focused on people who had committed crimes and were here illegally. Not on people who were here seeking asylum. Trump however is focused on anyone who is here illegally regardless of whether or not they are helping the economy, and is pretending that all people who are crossing the border illegally will be committing crimes in the US (which is blatantly untrue as illegal aliens commit about 50% of the crimes on average than US born citizens).

If Obama deported "far more", then wouldn't that be racist, destructive, and evil also?
Also, wouldn't white illegals get deported also? My sister was an illegal for five years in the 80s. If she'd have been caught she'd have been deported.

How is deporting illegals provoking people into rioting and looting?
Is ICE conducting raids in Texas? I haven't heard of any. I'm guessing the immigrant population is about what it is in California. But, it's a maga state so, hmmm..........
hmm...

The troops — whose makeshift quarters are shown in photographs exclusively obtained by the Chronicle — arrived without federal funding for food, water, fuel, equipment or lodging, said the source, who was granted confidentiality under Chronicle policies. This person said state officials and the California National Guard were not to blame.
“This is what happens when the president and (Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth) demand the National Guard state assets deploy immediately with no plan in place … (and) no federal funding available for food, water, fuel and lodging,” the source said. “This is really the failure of the federal government. If you’re going to federalize these troops, then take care of them.”

Are asylum seekers deported straight away without the merits of their cases being heard in court/processed, or deported after the asylum claim is rejected? If it's the former, that is indeed disgraceful. If it's the latter, not so much.
Doesn't matter if non asylum seeking illegal migrants contribute to the economy. They should apply legally like all the other migrants and can contribute to the economy then.
