The Free Palestine movement and their endless crusade to ensure that Palestinians are forever refugees are the real persons who don’t care about Muslims and only want to use the Palestinians as pawns to maneuver against Israel. Ensuring that the Palestinians never develop a culture beyond killing Jews is the real gross position.

Im not the one that brought up gays in Muslim countries as a cudgel to denigrate them and to justify the current mass murder by ethno-supremacists. I am simply pushing back on the objectively incorrect notion that Israel treats gay people well. they dont. putting on a pride parade while slaughtering gays a few miles away is not "pro-LGBTQ" or pro-humanity. I consider all gay people part of humanity and not just the white ones.

I am like a broken record on this. that number only counts the people killed by live fire and the people who were brought to hospitals to be counted. it doesnt count the people missing, the people who died from disease and starvation.

and since this is part of the discussion on treatments of gays, it doesnt count the people who cant get their AIDs medicine.

Assuming 5-10% of the 60,000 killed in Gaza are LGBT, we're looking at Israel killing 3,000-6,000 of them since Oct 7. Not sure what score Iran has racked up, but I don't think it's anywhere near that.

You’re accusing others of using gays as pawns for their arguments while that is exactly how the Free Palestine movement treats the Palestinians. If they actually cared about dying Muslims they wouldn’t be so myopically focused on Israel.

That's utter bullshit. I voted in favour of same sex marriage as I believe in equality and freedom and don't wish to see gay people deprived of such things. You're 100% wrong in your assessment of me. But whatever.

If they die in a just war caused by the actions of their government it’s a tragedy but not a murder.

And yea, most people do think that intent matters. If I kill someone in self-defense, is that the same thing as killing someone in cold blood? I mean obviously not, so your argument just doesn’t get off the ground with the tiniest amount of moral clarity.

voting for same sex marriage doesn’t mean you care about gays in muslim countries. It just means you tolerate the existence of gays, which granted is a positive that doesnt apply to everyone.

If anyone is using gays as pawns it's victor, just as he uses dead Palestinians. For all we know the other poster is gay, hence his comment. I simply and very accurately pointed out how victor was being dishonest. But think what you like.

Why wouldn't I care about the plight of gays in Muslim countries? Or Russia? Or China? Or Uganda? And what do you mean "tolerate"? That has a nasty little connotation which I don't appreciate, as it implies I don't like them but "tolerate" them because reasons? If that was the case I would've voted against it, no? It’s not changing the subject. If someone’s government starts a war, they don’t get to blame the deaths that happen as a result on the government responding. The intent of the Israeli government was to respond to the massacre that happened, they had no ill will towards any gay person.

Whereas when Hamas persecutes their own people for being gay, it’s because they hate gay people and hope they all burn in hell for eternity. They also start wars with Israel hoping their people will die so that gullible westerners like you blame Israel for it behind your computer screen.
