RIP Alla
full circle
Oh wow…RIP
Bobby Sherman, a singer and actor who became a teen idol of the late 1960s and early ’70s has died. He was 81.
Mick Ralphs of Mott The Hoople and Bad Company, dead at 81.
Godspeed Lalo Schifrin...
One of my favorite scores in all of film is Enter the Dragon.
Damn, he has an impressive list of movies.
Enter the Dragon, Bullitt, Cool Hand Luke, Kelly's Heroes, Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, Sudden Impact, The Dead Pool, The Amityville Horror, The Cincinnati Kid, Joe Kid and Caveman just to name a few.
Bill Moyers interviewing God next. RIP.
RIP Dave Parker.
One of my fav players when I was a kid and one of the greatest to ever play the game.
had just started playing organized ball and was such a pirates fan back when Stargell and Parker won the world series wearing pill box hats
started trying to throw like Tekulve and dad asked if i wanted to play girls softball instead
Oh yeah, I meant to mention that. Later in his career, he was the Brewers' DH. I recall him having a sledgehammer in the on-deck circle to take warm-up swings with instead of a bat. I think it made him feel looser at the plate.
our legion team traveled with a 6 lb [2.7 kg] sledge
carried it in the same bag as my catchers gear
RIP Cobra
the Cobra strikes
and now all of a sudden i was just reminded of JR Richard
Noted grifter Jimmy Swaggart is currently darning socks that smell.
No love lost for conmen.
Ouch. Recently rewatched Kill Bill and he was great. Guess I'll have to give Reservoir Dogs a rewatch now.
pretty shocking... even though hes been looking haggared over the last few years
Godspeed MM
He was so good in QT movies! Him working as a bouncer at some **** hole strip club in kill bill was fantastic.
Vincent Vega was written for him originally.
That completes the family's celebrity trifecta as his cousins Mickey Gilley and Jerry Lee Lewis outran him to the exit.
At least Mickey and Jerry Lee provided wholesome entertainment (and booze!) to the masses. Both noble endeavors that should be lauded.
calendar time for buddy
