Twist Fisted Cock Contusion

67o, I was raised by hippies, which meant I was taught to turn the other cheek in situations where it just made me a favorite target. The best advice I ever got in poker room-like dynamic was from a crusty old Technical Sergeant when I'd been getting a lot of crap from other aircrew members as a young Airman. He said "you know, Garick, your problem is that when people say 'y

Seems more like a region f the body than a defined part.

The TFCC is basically the wrist equivalent of a meniscus. It stands for Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex, and is so called because it has sub parts that are fibers like ligament and that are cartilage.

I also am at risk of wrist injury with all the loneliness I feel

Gonna have to add TFCC to the abbreviations thread?

The Concept does slap

I'll often wear my Bandwagonesque ballcap to the poker room which simply consists of a crudely drawn money bag (i.e. the album cover)... which I think is a funny (douchey?) thing to wear in a poker room.

In my ~3+ years of wearing it, I've encountered exactly one person who has identified it.

My wrist is stronger than ever!

Had a sleep study done last night. What an obnoxious procedure. I guess I slept enough for them to get some data, but I feel anything but rested.

Tracking boners per hour?

I'm kinda curious how that's going to help the wrist problem.

I mean, not a lot. I suspect I know, and don't really want details.

Just came back from my follow up appointment. The NP admitted that it can take months before you get comfortable wearing it so you can sleep well.

I hope I get used to it. Mask was not comfy, though given the 8 million wires, not much worse than before they added it.

Not related to wrist. Just getting a lot of stuff documented before I leave the military, so I can get it on the VA's radar.

Utg raised to $15, lp calls, i 3! to $70, bb who i haven’t seen play a hand in 2 orbits cold 4! $200 with $100 behind

I thought it was a man with a clip board watching a video of your sleep.

In my case it was a female tech with a computer, watching video and reading graphs from the 8 million sensors stuck all over my body, but mostly on my head, and then all plugged in by a spaghetti mass of wires that wasn't at all hard to deal with while I tried to sleep.

Trust the science bro. I actually learned this on CSPAN

Rickroll,

I was a pretty rudderless, drifting online grinder before Black Friday. After Black Friday, I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I went back to school, to finish a degree in nursing.

I’m MUCH happier, and find I enjoy poker MUCH more, now that I have a real job, and stable income for whatever bankroll shenanigans I want to get into.

Advantage play, poker, and sports will always be there, at whatever level of time and commitment you’re willing to invest. Pro gamblers often talk about how hard it is to find and maintain life balance. It was certainly true for me when I felt like I was grinding, out of necessity, without having any direction or a backup plan.

Garick,

Getting a sleep study done, and treatment for sleep apnea, was probably the biggest single improvement to my quality of life over the last ten years. Even more than quitting smoking.

I have REALLY bad sleep apnea. It’s so bad I need bipap therapy instead of cpap, for the higher pressure settings. Untreated, it literally could have killed me.

I was nodding off at work 2 hours into a shift, even after being in bed for 7-8 hours the night before. When I got written up for it, that’s when I knew something had to change.

When I did the sleep study, they said under 5 events is normal, 5-15 is low sleep apnea, 15-30 is moderate sleep apnea, and anything over 30 is severe apnea. I was at 76.

From the first night I used the machine, I could tell the difference. I have vivid dreams that I can even remember sometimes. I can wake up and get up without snoozing the alarm 4 times. And I’m fine at work all day, which is important because I have to be there at 4:30 am.

Don’t get easily discouraged. There are lots of different masks and fits you can try until something works.

They told me the people with the worst sleep apnea see the biggest benefit from bipap/cpap therapy. It’s certainly true for me.

And all the best to RtP!!

Garick, does anyone know what's going on with the delays in accessing 2+2? It sometimes just spins and then later when I try again Cloudfare comes on to say "verifying you are human" then lets me in.

Is this a problem on my end?

TJ, thanks. I don't know my results yet, but I hope it was worth it. Better than quitting smoking is an amazing endorsement. I've never felt particularly like I wasn't getting enough rest, but maybe I just didn't know what was possible.

jrr, we had 40,000 bots accessing the search function non-stop this weekend. IDK if it was a crude DDoS, an attempt to train an AI, or what, but it made the forums mostly unusable (just spins) so they added the verification, which slows everything down a lot, but it keeps the bots out.
