Both far-leftism and Islamism reject liberalism and rationality. And both ideologies are more than willing to weaponize the liberals empathy against them, and work together to attack western civilization.
And believe it or not, what has happened to Israel is happening right now to the rest of the west on a less aggressive trajectory.
And as in Israel, people will keep turning toward far right nationalism to combat the civilizational threat that liberalism seems structurally unable to combat.

Is interesting to see how in the aftermath of Israeli soldiers testifying that the Israel government allowed October 7 to happen ….. we see the same propaganda from folks who support the war in Gaza …even though The defense of the war in Gaza is null and void.
“Hamas”. “Islamism”. “Lies” “hostages”. “Israel is under threat” and of course “antisemitism”
And more buzz words and propaganda from the pro Netanyahu machine also ignoring the conservatives in the US military who as we have seen in this thread from video evidence testifying that they have seen nothing like the evil campaign in Gaza by the IDF. Yet we also keep hearing the propaganda line that “the Israeli military conducts itself in a more humanitarian way than any other military” Well no …. It’s quite different compared to the US campaign in Iraq for example again that’s according to US military contractors with no reason to lie. No incentive other then being moral upright. Meanwhile the Israeli hasbara pay big sums of money to podcasters and influencers on social media to spread their propaganda.

What has actually happened in here is a few posters repeatedly warned everyone that voting for Trump was the worst possible decision for the people of Gaza. The genocide Joe crowd didn’t want to listen and lo and behold, ever since Trump took office things have taken a drastic turn for the worse for the Palestinians. Yay, right leaning young people went from 48% to 53% since the 2020 election.
Scope yourself out and look at the long-term trend. Republicans' (18-49) view of Israel has gone from whatever it was in the 80s/90s when boomers were the young people (too lazy to look it up, but I think we can agree that it would have been < 20% unfavorable) to 50% unfavorable.
