With all the bashing I came here to step in to put in a word for Paisting.I played 300 hands against him and I am down about 200 big blinds. His oversize bets on the turn are putting immense pressure, I don't even know how to play against it.I legitimately think he is one of the strongest players I met if he can get his emotions more in check.Just out of fear to be matched again

Given that Paisting plays the snap format, do you think this game goes a bit fast for a player predisposed to tilting?

I totally agree with the text I bolded, there is a player in there and he has dedication like I have never seen and I can't help but feel if he opened himself up to taking advice onboard and seriously committing to working on his issues this could turn around and be one hell of comeback story even if he never retrieves the losses, if he was just to become a gradual winner and halt this madness it would be great to see.

There is no good way to play against those. I put you to guess is it bluff or is it value or is it bluff with good potential value. Perfecty balanced bluff heavy moves. It's called punish.

Paisting is definitely very balanced

It's not dedication it's addiction. If he was dedicated he would have improved at some point in the last 20+ years but he hasn't. He hasn't even tried to improve. He writes off every piece of advice he's given. He hasn't learned or changed a single thing the entire time he's been playing poker.

Apologies, I should have worded it better, I meant his commitment to his beliefs on how to play. Refusing to work on his game or listen to advice, I agree with your take on that.

Paisting have you tried playing live?

Move up to where they respect your raises

If he goes to hell, he'll be forced to play pot limit holdem for eternity.

I am very far behind and will keep up, but... How does OP make his living?

I imagine his boss/mom calling him and he goes:

- wait, just have to lose 30b.i on nl2

when you do what to gotta do, being losing a lot more or getting even, please do an AMA

According to him he is disabled (though he won't say in what way) and lives off government assistance.

He has very specific disability, kinda color blindness; he can't see yellow line when that line is below green one.

All-in EV color blindness on upstreak. I can understand him, sometimes I also don't see the EV line. But when the green line is much lower than the orange one, then my vision immediately returns.

How's the month going Paisting?

Played some 10nl snap at 888 seaworld last week hoping to catch a glimpse of Paisting punishing the whales but he never showed. 2 stars I won't be back.

Not long now till the monthly update from our hero. Im guessing at a rather unexpected return to form and a small ($0-$50) profit. Im basing this on nothing sensible whatsoever other than hoping for his sake.

Here we go boys.... was August really disaster or did Paisting strike back at the min raising whales?

I'm guessing he's still tilting from last month and that he had a really bad August.

I do like how our hero ended last months update with no irony meant at all with the words "its time to wake up". Sadly he wasnt talking about himself.

I wonder if we will get to see the ev-line this month

Also, remember when someone offered Paisting $100 to show he actually ran under ev... why would he not accept this??? He runs the worst right??

Paisting is a luckbox - running above EV most of the months. Pokersite is rigged and helps whales like paisting to win with worse hands.

Although it doesn't matter whether Paisting plays above or below EV. He gambles away his welfare check every month...

honestly it would be much fairer for paisting to run way below EV, giving that luck to players who actually have a chance of being in the green... for Paisting 50BI below or above EV is entirely irrelevant.

We havent seen August yet... it must be terrible
