Dems could be out there with Stephanie Kelton pushing MMT with one twentieth of the fervor that they use to accuse people of bigotry and probably grow a massive voter army. We're a full decade into Dems leaning exclusively on the Alphabet Mafia as the face of the party and calling Trump and all republicans every name in the book, but they've left the vast majority of their base behind. Trump might have to win FOUR presidential elections before it sinks in that maybe it's time to change the playbook.
There's been a short pause in pushing DEI to fight against law and order, which is both bizarre and against the will of most citizens that they should be courting for votes. Washington DC is filled with protesters pushing back against federal agents cleaning up the streets. Half of DC is black. Nowhere even remotely close to half of the protestors are black. Why? Because the people who actually live with this rampant crime and misery every day are sick and tired of it and want it to stop as well. These rich white liberals taking some PTO to protest at 10am on a Thursday will go back to their townhomes in Whitesville, MD at the end of the week, well outside the reach of the criminals they're working so hard to protect.

There are some clear cut polls saying that the BBB tax cuts for very rich people aren't loved by the american people. Some of the welfare cuts aren't as well.
Why aren't the democrats just campaigning on bread and butter "let's raise taxes for people who make more than 300k/year" , "let's increase welfare for the poors", "here is our immigration reform bill to get much needed workers legally in the country while keeping bad apples out", and so on?

I think they polled 400k because that was the threshold Biden run with, a pledge not to touch taxes for people making less than 400k. But i think a 300k threshold would poll almost identically.

5) Pelosi schedules a bogus impeachment hearing

8) The vote counting in Iowa on election night is a fiasco.
Bernie wins the popular vote, but the country goes to sleep on election night and wakes up the following morning believing Buttigieg won because the scum that Obama's lackey Perez hired reported selectively from the regions that Buttigieg did well. Eventually it became known that Bernie won the popular vote in Iowa by about 15%, but Bernie was denied the momentum from an Iowa.
Establishment favorite Harris didn't even make it to Iowa and Biden performed miserably.

This leads to a Biden rout. A state which the Dems have no chance of winning in the general election effectively decides the winner of the primary.
11) Warren decides to remain in the field for Super Tuesday. Buttigieg drops out and endorses Biden.
Warren had no chance of winning. The purpose of her remaining is to strip votes from Sanders. She accepts a massive donation of over $10M from a single individual, an Obama bundler by the name of Karla Jurvetson. She does this after complaining the entire campaign about big money donors.
12) The Dems don't care about winning.
It's pretty simple and obvious that if the Democrats truly cared about winning the general election, they would let the swing states (WI, MI, PA, AZ, NC, VA, etc) have the early and pivotal slots in the primary.
The general election comes down to a handful of states. It's pretty obvious that a candidate who has the best chance at carrying those states is best suited to win a general election. The only plausible explanation for not going that route is that they don't care if they win.

Now imagine that same person is fiscally reasonable , wants to fix the deficit, wants to put as many criminals in prison as possible, doesn't talk much about lgbtq if at all, and wants to nominate centrist judges, not radical left activists, or judges that are women or black just because they are women or black (or both).
Now that person would win in a landslide against Trump or many other republican candidates. Like 40 + states easily. And he could raise taxes on the rich as much as necessary to fix the deficit (presuming congressional dem candidates are similar candidates ofc, and so they get an easy trifecta).
