im rewatching One Tree hill before bed.
How cringe is this show.. i didnt remember how bad it was but im hooked. i forgot a lot of the story lines and its soap opera crazy.
After that its the OC, should be much better.

Dexter Resurrection really is the best tv show on air atm.. episode 7 was another all time great
Loved the ending. Very Breaking Bad-esque..."tread lightly" moment.
I heard it's supposedly, but not officially, been renewed for 2 more seasons.
Made it though the final season of Resident Alien. I'll miss that show. Fun ride.

Finished up S1 of Eastern Gate last night. Good Polish spy show that centers on Russians trying to start a possible war to invade Poland.

3 episodes into Alien Earth and I'm liking it...with reservations. I'm enjoying the world building of 4 major corps controlling the Earth and I'm really liking Timothy Olyphant as a synthetic. He's playing against type and I haven't seen him in this kind of role before.
But the narrative so far is a bit fractured, which does seem intentional. So we'll see where it goes.
The main issue is with the hybrids. They're 12 year olds in adult bodies and that is problematic from a performance POV. It's just annoying seeing grown adults act like kids. But the philosophical questions it brings up can be interesting....

Dexter Original Sin was cancelled. Guess they want to put all their eggs into one basket and focus entirely on Dexter Resurrection. Sucks, because I thought OS was pretty good.

I thought it was pretty good to, amazing casting, but im not to mad about it being cancelled.
Didn't to anything new, we already had Michael C hall in a wig playing a teenager in OG. Cant beat that.
Resurrection is also alot better, lets hope they keep that quality up in the finale and future seasons

I don't know if it would actually work, but I had this idea of them maybe doing like a Silence of the Lambs.
He gets caught, but then that New York Ripper starts killing again, so they want to use Dexter's expertise to help catch him.

very interested to hear your thoughts on the pacific rewatch
was thoroughly unimpressed with original watching when it first came out - was super hyped as the band of brothers sequel and just fell flat for me
biggest issue for me was non continuity and found the few constants thoroughly unlikable
but i've been meaning to give it a rewatch with much older eyes and see it if clicks the 2nd time around
