Anyways, Israel says they want to annex Area C. Wouldn't that make every Arab living there an equal citizen with equal rights, like the rest of Israel? And yet progressives are screaming against this. Seems you want to be outraged at Israel for being an Apartheid state, but also outraged if they want to formally annex land so it isn't?
No, that isn't the plan. Annexation of the West Bank would impose Israeli sovereignty everywhere but in the tightly controlled and segregated Arab neighbourhoods, isolating them and, in theory, making a Palestinian state impossible. This is why the West should never have gone along with Israel's very sketchy pretence of interest in a two-state solution. It was always obvious that they would never permit it. There will be no question of West Bank Arabs gaining Israeli citizenship or the vote.
