Shadow is more "cover" for me

You cover your tracks more than conceal them, but it's still worth considering

Not feeling plot, but maybe

Duck I'm imagining is duck out of the way. I prefer cover again for this.

Why moon?

I assumed conceal was there to pick up cloak, specifically, vs the alternatives like cover. But we're trying to read PG's mind here (as usual) with a lot of fine distinctions.

Water's a lock.

Pool/Water would be really easy to hit with dive or swim. But we're on beach which a pool doesn't have. So I hate Pool here.

Moon/Water you'd hit with tides much better than beach.

I like Play or Day with water.

That leaves terrain. Track was next on our list, but then there has to be one more. Not sure he'd re-clue water unless he thought we'd NEVER go there since we were taking terrain very literally.

The one thing I hate about Day here is Day is so dang generic.

Day/Water I really have a hard time seeing clued as beach. If you're trying NOT to hit pool, why even get in the neighborhood of swimming at all?

May be something like snow. A Snow Day is very definitely a thing.

Play/Water, while avoiding pool, is much harder.

Okay I think I'm convinced on play over day here.
