hey imbecile, i linked the study which the trump admin is minsintepreting on purpose to make it clear where he tries, failing, to get a justification for his claims.
I never defended this claim and i immediatly pointed out why the claim is without scientific basis from the study itself which, on a very partial and summary reading, could give some teeth to the claims.

Disney just lost Billions because when they canned Kimmel (for a while - apparently he is coming back to ABC) a lot of people cancelled their Disney subscriptions. So by caving in to Trump temporarily, they cost themselves a ton of money.

“As the COVID vaccines first became available, I made it clear that in Florida we were going to put Seniors First to make sure the most vulnerable received the protection they needed,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Following Florida’s lead, earlier this year the federal government reversed course from prioritizing younger populations for vaccinations to recommending that states prioritize seniors age 65 and older. When I decided to put Seniors First, the data clearly showed that prioritizing vaccines for seniors would save the most lives. It was the right thing to do, and I am glad to see the federal government has continued to acknowledge this reality.”
The HHS study analyzed the estimated reductions in COVID infection, hospitalization, and death for seniors in the 20 most populous states through the end of May. At that time, only four of those states had higher senior vaccination rates than Florida and the study estimates that in Florida Seniors First reduced senior infections by 17,000, hospitalizations by 6,700, and deaths by 2,400. Florida currently has the highest vaccination rate in the southeast and one of the highest senior vaccination rates in the country. Over 4.5 million seniors have chosen to get vaccinated in Florida.

Covid vaccinations not only saved lives of people under 65 but it also reduced the spread of Covid and/or reduced the power of the disease when it was caught.
The reason it was mandated for everyone to take it in nursing homes, the medical community, schools, the military, etc. was to reduce the spread of Covid so mostly elderly people wouldn't die in those communities and from people who worked in those communities to potentially spread it to people they knew or in other public places.
But its not just elderly people who died or had to be hospitalized. So the reduction in the spread of Covid helped save lives of many people.
The other irony of what you are saying is that its not leftists who are causing the vaccination problem. Its the podcasting liars. Because RFK Jr (who was basically a left wing Democrat until this election) chose to run in the election all vaccinations have become a thing. And then there is a president who rarely tells the truth and only cares about being the center of attention. Maybe you remember the inject yourself with bleach thing to avoid getting covid...
Personally I don't care too much about the vaccination thing. I do care about the children dying because their parents are just stupid. But in reality most of the children who will die would likely have grown up to be stupid right wing jerks anyway. So in the end its just not worth much to waste time fighting it. The one thing at risk is children under 1 year old whose parents want to get them vaccinated and somehow get caught up in a right wing antivax community where there is a deadly spread of some virus. But I think this will be rare though tragic.
. I didn't realize it starts at 2 to 6 months for some vaccines that can prevent death and crippling (Polio, Hepatitus B, Tetanus, Diptheria, Flus and RSV) and then 1 year for others (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Chickenpox, Hepatitis A)

now it's either democrats go live and admit their mistake and accept a change of course and 20-30 years to get back on track, or things can only get worse.
A change of course is a complete commitment to never again mandate any health procedure in absolutely no case without any exception ever to any legally capacious person (or people under his tutelage), in any aspect of life.
So democrats should go and support a complete removal of the legal possibility of mandating vaccination (or any other health procedure) in schools, workplaces, the militaries, clearly stating that the same ethos underpinning abortion rights ethically mandates to allow people complete freedom without any consequence for vaccinations as well.

According to most analysts in 2024, RFK was pouching voters from both parties, which is why both parties attempted everything they could not to have his name on the ballot in various states.
Things changed after Harris got nominated, polls changed, RFK at that point was polling lower but mostly among otherwise rightwing voters. That's when Trump took him in.
Winning is the most important thing of all in elections and you have to be fully ready to do literally everything which isn't illegal to win with no principles other than winning. That's the right ethos especially in existential elections.
