A nifty 3-10-2 from Scottie BDC & Wontly.

There was always a significant chance Morikawa just wandered into two COVIDterisk majors before he knew what he was doing and had a lot of WIL in him…

Edit: Confirmed

Macintyre gonna be unconscious when they carry him on the plane.

What a brilliiant day of golf.
That was seriously impressive from team USA

As an Irishman I am happy with the result but would like to say Keegan and the entire US team deserve huge credit for that performance today. I never gave them a chance but the battles between Young/Rose, DeChambeau/Fitzpatrick, Fleetwood/Thomas and Scheffler/McIlroy were epic.

Someone else posted about a potential rule change regarding injured players and I am in full agreement and something along the lines of each team brings one player as a potential substitute could be an option. Never thought this issue would be mentioned given the expectation of a clear victory but it is not a good look for golf's premier competition.

Well done to both sides for providing excellent quality golf and roll on 2027.

lol

The sign was moved to over the tunnel where the players walked to the first tee. They wanted to make sure it wasn't somewhere it could easily get pilfered. Almost certainly it gets moved back when the course opens back up for public play.

The envelope rule was a huge factor in 1991. I would propose a captain or vice captain has to fill in. Funny how Keegan never mentioned the rule beforehand, another thing he forgot to do. The Sunday charge really saved his bacon by changing the subject.

I heard the argument against the substitution and it was basically... It would be unfair on the sub as he hasn't played throughout the week. My stance is it should favour the person that's not injured. Maybe make it so the sub has to be a rookie, So that way the person being chosen gets to get into the environment of what he maybe playing in the future.

In the Ryder Cup history from what I know it happens very rarely, Like most sports these days athletes are pushing themselves to the max so I'd only expect more injuries.

Not only did I feel bad for Victor Hovland but also Harris English.

Why not just an "alternate" 13th player on the roster? Or, the injury forfeits like in every other sport.

It would have been super sick to have Donald strap 'em up and take on English for a potential match clinching point. That is theatre I would pay for.

Bradley complaining a bout a rule that enabled the US to win the 1991 Ryder Cup, and would not have changed the outcome of the 2025 Ryder Cup???

Yes, It needs a better solution, but the Ryder Cup Committee should be talking about it, not a Captain from the side who had a net gain from the rule.

And, talking about it now.......Kind of tacky timing......people not paying attention might think the US could have won...

Especially Bradley noting that it needs to change before the next Ryder Cup, as if there is some game-changing urgency here.

Imagine any team sport where a player sits out because of injury and the other team is forced to concede points. Injuries are unfortunate but players should either play through them or it has a negative impact on their team.

I read that the emcee had to resign after leading the fans in a Fxxk Rory Chant .

more like 'stepped away from her duties' but yeah

i'm sure it all was just a misunderstanding

I have to say I lost a bit, maybe quite a bit, of respect for Bradley. Not that he’s a bad person, and sometimes you do have to think outside the box, but it was gamble picking him, and it failed notably.

I guess Tiger in ‘27, but he doesn’t seem to be in a great spot in his life for that level of commitment.

these are extremely high earning sportsmen, playing for nothing*, they shouldn't be expected to risk further injury by "playing through it".

If it's for nothing then take the lost point if your to hurt to play then. They risk injury any time they hit from an awkward stance or buried lie.

Tommy Lad up to #2 in the world

and Marco Penge is top 30. keep an eye on that guy, didn't play in Dheli but he's on a heater.
