SIDES - Inaugural Game Thread
In this thread, we will play a new word game called Sides. It's somewhat similar to codenames, but cooperative and diff
I wanted to clue B5 for Basil but remembered brush itself is B5 lol, maybe DZ would've got it anyway being British
yeah, the #1 rule of Sides is to never mention the letter+number of the actual word
you can clue it, but you can't mention it because it rules out the target

Yeah R3 was first thing that came to mind
Only others I can think of are R5 and G5
can't think of much atm

R4/R5 confirmer
yep R3 immediate thought too but works as confirmer, much harder to get to target if it's not in your head already
there's a p9 that's....in the domain that could maybe get them thinking of it
p9 is pretty good
we could go JOVW to unlock r3 but I feel like if they get the target on their list then they'll deduce r3 pretty easily as a confirmer, but could be wrong...it was first thing that came to mind for me, pog and ervin, so probably is deduced if they consider the target
j4 gets in the domain as JOVW option; it's like g7, which is a better clue, but not JOVW; I think if we clue j4 they can deduce g7 and think of options
There's a couple of o4s similar to j4 but better, with one of them better than the other assuming they know what it is. Think they should be able to think of the word and deduce the confirmers.
yeah, I know both o4s that are like j4; I agree they are probably better, especially as j4 can be easily deduced if we clue o4 and then g7 can be and the target can be and they can deduce confirmers and get this in one
I like the o4/j4/g7 stuff. P9 is fine as a directional confirmer, but should never be the clue imo.
I think the great o4 is the way to go and, if they don’t get it, r3 obv.
just hope that they don't think of the wrong r3 after we clue an o4/j4/g7 clue

I haven't figured out the other stuff but if it's better I say go for it
would think they'd figure it out off the p9 but can help as a confirmer too if they think of it
