Gannon fined $100k for putting his hands on the ****wit who dropped the ball over the line

Not sure what I feel about it tbh. He shouldn’t do it, I would have been furious if a coach did that to me and I hate seeing coaches doing that in general but the guy cost them a game and perhaps a ton more and potentially some jobs

That probably will knock the Cardinal out of a playoff spot. they had a very tight window as it was. He was almost caught from behind as well when he slowed down at the end. These guy's have a massive ego and think they can get away with anything. I would cut any player who was dumb enough to do this except J Taylor.

Mayfield finished 29-for-33 for 379 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Darnold finished 29-for-34 for 341 yards, four touchdowns and the interception in the loss. It marked the first time in league history opposing quarterbacks each recorded at least 325 passing yards and completed over 80 percent of their throws.

Blowing a 17-0 lead to lose at Carolina, which had lost 38 consecutive games when trailing by at least that many, affirmed once again that Miami can no longer trust a defense that has fallen from seventh in EPA per play last season to 31st now, ahead of only Dallas.

- - - - -

The Browns rank first on defense and last on offense by EPA per play since hiring Jim Schwartz as defensive coordinator in 2023.

Cincinnati has lost by at least 13 points in three consecutive games within a season for the first time since 2002.

Yep, was so happy the Colts benched AD this week, even though, with AP still out, he was kinda needed.

You willingly drop the ball at the 1 yard line and you haven't lead the league in rushing yards recently? Clean out your locker.

Perfect spot to see what Flacco is made of against one of the best defenses in the league coming off of a bye. Cincy waited this long to make the move so that GB wouldn't have much time to prepare. Chess not checkers.

He's already beaten the Packers this season

did he tho?

PHI's offense is a work in progress

dat RZ TD% tho

did he tho?

Yeah they only put up 12 points which generally isnt a winning score. I have a feeling he wont have quite the same defense to lean on in cincy.

wondering if there’s enough in this report to allow the Fins to cut him and save some $$ on their cap

although the report also makes him more attractive to the Chiefs who (I think?) haven’t had a woman beating incident this year and need to maintain their NFL lead in this area. So maybe they can trade for him and allow him to rehab there and then play next season

that one RB for the chiefs(racist name) has top 12 woman beating ranking. he will come through for them. but im sure they'd love to add tyreek to their roster too

is his name kareem hunt? sorry i forget

Demecardo got put back in the game after he let the ball go. Pretty stunning if you ask me.

G-bebe, the teams you listed from 4-like 16 are so confusing. You could literally just jumble those teams around in nearly any order and it wouldn't be that wrong.

Two things: Im pretty sure I must be blocked by several people because I was advocating denver being better than their record before mondig, or maybe I just am not as annoying and draw the same attention?

I think i got to bet on the steelers. I hate it, but its such an uphill climb even though I know the ravens will put together a winning streak. Their defense is just not very good.

PHI's offense is a work in progress

When they aren't able to do the tush push they don't have much going on offensively. They weren't able to attempt the tush push against Denver.

The last 112 games Denver trailed on the road in the 4th quarter by 14 or more they were 0-112. They are now 1-112. I suppose running the ball only once in the second half when you have Saquon Barkley had a little to do with this. What makes this worse is that Denver has been susceptible to elite RB's this year. Denver's LB corp is not good without Dre Greenlaw. Instead, Philly decided to challenge Denver's secondary and allow their elite pass rush to do their thing. You have to wonder if all of the whining from their diva receivers pushed them this direction. I must also give credit to Bo Nix who had a forgetful first three quarters but was brilliant in the fourth quarter. Kudos to Sean Payton for having the balls to go for two and put Denver up by one. This allowed Denver to go up by 4 after kicking a FG and forcing the Eagles to have to score a TD. Analytics didn't tell Sean to do this. Sean knew he had the play and the players to execute it.

"Broncos might be better than you think" is boring

by mongidig m

I agree! They haven't played like an elite team yet this year. This has me very optimistic. They should be 5-0 even though they have played like garbage in a few of these games. The Broncos have the ingredients to be an elite team. They have an elite offensive and defensive line. Their secondary is elite. They have an elite WR. They have an elite coaching staff. They have

"Broncos are elite at every position except QB where they're merely great" is how you draw numbers

Can you expand on this please? I'm not sure what point you are making.

I agree. As I put together the rankings I thought the same, you could make arguments for a whole slew of arrangements. Everybody has a loss now and has shown vulnerabilities. My own inherent biases led to my rankings, like I just don't really believe the early season Chargers hype, nor do I buy the Jags actually being good, it took so much to get that win on the Chiefs; Colts/Bucs are must-watch but riding high. I dunno, weird season so far.

This is a weird season. At the beginning of the year I thought the Ravens were the team to beat. Then I thought the team was the Packers. The Chargers looked good for a minute. Now it seems to be the Lions. It seems to be wide open this year. The Bucs are interesting because all of their games have come down to the wire. That being said, they haven't been fully healthy the whole year yet. The Colts are playing well and certainly have a nice roster. Something tells me they are gonna come back to Earth. I agree with you about the Jags. Lawrence can flash at times but he is just not consistent enough. They are killing it in the turnover battle. We shall see if this continues.

In the end I think it will be the Chiefs, Broncos, Ravens and Bills as the legit contenders in the AFC. I do believe the Ravens will make a furious run at the playoffs. Obviously they have to get healthy. The Chiefs are gonna be hard to beat when they get Rice back. The Bills will always be in it with Josh and they have an easy schedule. Denver is good and getting better each week. Bo has a lot to work on but I am confident he will make progress. Getting Dre Greenlaw back will massively elevate this defense. Troy Franklin/Harvey/Engram are getting ready to emerge.

The Lions, Packers, Bucs, Eagles and Rams are the contenders in the NFC. I think the Lions are in their own tier at the top. The other teams are capable but not inspiring.

I'm actually shocked he's still on the team.

indeed

CLE's D >>>>>>>>>>>> bungles' D

fakeJOE won't survive 7 quarters in CIN behind that o-line

Browning will be back under center before we know it

What is Joe B’s likely return date?

unknown

decent chance we've seen the last of JOE this season

The Bengals are making moves that would indicate he has a chance to be back. I agree it's not looking good though. There is no indication they can remain competitive without Joe. Maybe they can steal a game or two and keep the hopes up for a while.

Coach and GM trying to save their jobs too…albeit if Mike Brown would have to pay out more than $3.50 to fire them, they’re probably safe

not to be snoopy but wish you were just joking about joe from the burrough turning camel cash into peanuts so early in his business career

The Colts' 2004 offense ranks second to the 2007 Patriots since 2000 in total offensive EPA, per TruMedia. But the 2025 Colts are scoring more points per game on offense (31.2) than the famed 2004 offense did (30.4).

- - - - -

In Drake Maye's second season, the five-game output on offense (15.1 EPA) is the Patriots' best since 2017.

- - - - -

Per NFL Next Gen Stats, the average win probability for the Titans at any point during this game (the win over ARZ) was 12.1%, the lowest for any winning team in any game since 2016.

Egbuka has run 28 routes and seen 14 targets of at least 20 yards this season. Those totals rank first and second, respectively, in the NFL. His 291 yards and four touchdowns on those routes also both lead the league.
