So it's an Americanism to mispronounce it rather than just Rice. Genuinely never heard it pronounced that way.

unsure what your baseline is but if we were to pronounce it differently than the eyetalians then that wouldn't be much of a surprise and pretty standard for how the rest of the world does it

if we pronounce it differently from the british - well that's probably for the best - nothing more horrific that hearing an englishmen request more coriander and gwock-a-moll on his fa-gi-tas

Baseline is how I've always heard it pronounced at home, abroad and in Italy. I have never heard a single person pronounce it the bizarre way Rice does. Never heard anyone English pronounce it so not sure what the reference is there.

is that a pile of shredded cheese?

As rediculous as that pocket of shredded cheese it that looks way more appetizing than whatever that garbage meat is next to it.

There is also a chance he brought his own microphone to the EDR to heat up the cheese.

And yes the way he pronounces mozzarella is absurd.

you said you never heard an american say it before - deeply implying that you're a native english speaker not from usa#1

you couldn't possibly be canadian - so that basically leaves a few options brits tend to be the most uppity of the remaining options so it felt like a reasonable guess

again, i have yet to hear how he says it - just saying that there's a good dozen ways we say it

most common is probably "monz-er-rella" which obviously is wrong but this is less about what is historically wrong vs actual usage of the language

champing vs chomping all over again - the "wrong one" is the one used the overwhelmingly of the time - at which point you need to concede that's just how the american english has evolved

Is there any particular reason Rice keeps mispronouncing 'Mozzarella'?

Is it an Americanism or a Riceism?

Similar to Horseshoe some call it Bally's, he needs to say, mooozzarella some call it mozzarella.

Yeah sounds like he says moouch-arella

I wonder if he genuinely thinks that's correct or if it's some sort of glitch caused by his head being partially caved in

Regarding the absence of gyro at the PH EDR, it's one of two things:

1.) They saw Rice coming and hid the item based on his destruction of the burgers/hotdogs
2.) The EDR puts out the gyro at lunchtime and they ran out by the time Rice got there. They don't have unlimited gyro.

I concur with others here - his gluttony regarding the burgers and hot dogs is unsurpassed. And disgusting. At this rate, PH is going to limit employees to one plate per person. Even so, 2 hot dogs and 2 hamburgers in the same meal seems excessive, let alone the additional 4 of each our hero, king of the whack pack, likely inhaled.

thanks for the link

definitely heard others from ny/nj area say moozerella before - given he's from long island there's a non zero chance that's just what his family or people around him growing up called it

but... he's definitely aware that's not the norm though

I've lived in NY basically my entire life and have never heard one person say it like that.

He's a Jew from long island saying it how he thinks a native Italian says it bc he thinks he's a genius.

NJ Italians drop the last a - moots a rell - you hear this in the sopranos - but something tells me that’s not what you’re talking about with rice.

He also mispronounced gyro.

Its yee-roh

I am not quite sure what to make of this any more. Does he think you can only have one home and for him that will always be the parents' house? I'm going home is just so much more natural than I'm going to the address.

Next you’re going to start bragging about the fruit inventory that you own. Maybe if we’re lucky, you can start analyzing your own paycheck 46 different ways and share it with us thru daily YT vlogs that meet the requirements of the rubric.

I'm worried for u. We watch Rice for the comedic value, not so that he rubs off on us some.

He disects a $158 paycheck, with numerous graphics, from various angles, with multiple scenarios, discussing the $30 some dollars in tax withheld from his paycheck.

Ignore the warnings at your own peril.

Spending God knows how much time making an entire video complaining about your tax withholding base (not even the tax!) being $10 higher than your actual wage WHILE IGNORING one of arguably the biggest freebie handouts by the U.S. federal government in its history which exempts $25k in tips from tax altogether at the end of the year is peak el D ‘tism. Imagine when his head explodes next year when the withholding may go away altogether….double gyros out-of-pocket when that extra cash stays in the paycheck.

I thought this was gonna be another total nut low video with Rice obsessing/spewing on numbers and percentages.

He saved a little gem towards the end though,i catched it even though i skimmed fast through the video.

Rice says he is unhappy with not getting enough double breaks,so he could be able to have yet another serving in the dining room. Its not even enough for this bufoon coming in at least 1 hour before his shift to go on a total rampage in the EDR. Nope,he wants even more free food to shovel down.

LMAO what a buffoon, he needs a full hour every time he eats anything. Most other people can polish off a meal or a snack in well under 15 minutes, especially eating solo like he does. Imagine seeing him sitting there in the EDR all alone pretending like he's wining and dining at a fine restaurant.

And typical Rice focusing and obsessing about the one time he was taxed about an extra $2. Isn't this like the third or fourth video he has made about this "phenomenon" which has literally only ever happened to him once?

How about the fact he's being paid the entire 6 hours while he is only actually working half that time. I would think getting paid $12 per hour to be on break should be right up his alley since he was happy sitting at the poker table all day to make way less than that per hour.

The highlight of today's video is at about the 5 minute mark where he says "30 minutes, that's half an hour, 0.5 hours."

The no tax on tips law is only effective until 2028, which causes the Republicans to use it as an incentive to re-elect Republicans in 2028 by not making it a permanent tax cut.

If you factor in the huge amount of free food he scarfs down, his hourly is quite a bit higher than that $12 base wage. 6 big macs + 6 hot dogs = let's say $45? Divided by 6 hrs on clock = $7.5000 additional per hour. That's per 60 minutes. 6 hours on the clock is 1/4 of a full calendar day, that's 25%.

7.5 + 12 = $19 + tournament downs + cash tips. There is no tax on food consumed on the company dime.

I think I've been infected by the Rice mind virus as well.
