I don't usually post here because I just don't know enough about it all, but is this right? They had a cease fire, then Israel tossed a bunch of air strikes, killing a bunch of people, and now the Israeli army says "ok, the ceasefire is on again." Really?

Yes, pretty much, and we can expect more of the same.

by Bill Haywood

Well, Israel has been violating the ceasefire everyday.

.

Also,

shows that since the "ceasefire" began, on only three of fifteen days did Israel not kill people in Gaza. Add to that the near-daily murders on the West Bank.

Where were they killed? Were they killed in the zones that Israel controls as a stipulation of the ceasefire?

And what makes you think that Hamas is being truthful that they didn’t violate the ceasefire?

by PokerEthics

Well it would be nice for the pro Israel side to denounce genocide so we know we’re all in agreement but I’m pretty sure they’re at a minimum genocide deniers.

So the workaround is to deny it’s even happening I guess is where we are at.

Is this you saying that you cannot name a single poster that has expressed approval for genocide?

What makes you think Israel is being truthful? They’ve proven more than once they cant be trusted. Why start now.

You clearly missed “I’m blue” threatening to kill everyone… hahahahaha

Well the “ceasefire” was part of a 20 point plan that neither side is following.

So it seems your bias is that Israel should unilaterally honor the single point of not attacking Hamas, while neither side honors any of the other points.

Correct?

I mean, that is certainly a defensible position to take. But remember, Hamas was supposed to be in the process of demilitarizing and handing over power. And they have already stated that will not be happening.

The truth is the ceasefire was always fake. This was an agreement between the Trump administration and Qatar, where Trump promised Qatar a bunch of stuff, and Qatar promised that Hamas would release the live hostages.

And neither Israel or Hamas is honoring anything beyond this.

I would say most people think that now that the live hostages are released Israel should just accept going back to the pre 10/7 status quo. And that is a reasonable opinion. But it is certainly not what the Netanyahu regime wants.

No. I just read a headline that specifically said israel initiated airstrikes that killed a bunch of people, then declared the ceasefire is on again.

I already said i don't know much about this whole thing other than the middle east hatred for one another goes back thousands of years and the only way that I see to fix it is for both sides to simply stop killing each other. I'm not holding my breath.

We actually agree on something for once.

Islam as a religion is around 1400 years old. Archaeological evidence indicates Judaism isn’t that much older (sorry if I am offending any Old Testament truthers).

And most of the last 500 years the ME was actually controlled by Turkey, with relatively little sectarian conflict.

I would say this conflict is in fact very recent, and involves tensions between 20th century Zionism and Arab nationalism movements. Where the latter has morphed into Islamism.

The Palestinian conflict did not get rolling until about 1914. It is of very recent origin.

typical liberal racism

Im not sure how you arrived at that but whatever.

Ironically Arab nationalists have behaved at least as badly towards minority groups (such as Druze, Kurds, Assyrians, Yazedi, Jews, Christian’s) and arguably much worse than Zionist’s. Not to mention inter Arab Muslim conflict.

But for geopolitical and ideological reasons Arabs have been given a free pass to behave as poorly as they wish, while tremendous pressure has been put on Israel to behave better. Including taking actions that would compromise their ability to survive.

Well if you have two sides that have been caught lying then you have as much reason to believe one or the other.

But I have less reason to believe Hamas in any case.

I didn’t express any support for genocide there. Nice low IQ response though.

Exactly.

One side is making a lot more claims than the other side is. So because Hamas makes more claims and many of them are unbelievable, then it’s hard to take any of what they say seriously. And Israel has backed up its claims with evidence, like the claim that Hamas was tunneling underground to help their leadership escape capture and be able to move around. That is confirmed now and it was called a conspiracy by many.

never seen anyone deny that Hamas was using tunnels. you are really bad at this.

by checkraisdraw

And when did he do that?

Couple pages up.. he received a ban for it.

by IMBLUEtheONE

Ofc I do. Everyone who is a blatant antisemitic worm, can only have one future if it was up to me

Here

I’m not seeing that as him threatening to kill everyone.

Actually taking that into context of the conversation it’s wishing that the antisemites would get cancer/be cosmically punished in some way.

I also find that absurd and think that his posts are garbage just to be clear. Anyone that supports Israel should be happy Blue is banned because he is ****ing unhinged.

Blue was actually a very good poster when he posted content. And he frequently pointed out how posters such as Victor, Jalfrezi, etc. description of Israel couldn't be more incorrect and libelous if they tried.

Unfortunately the moderators of this forum decided that posting hateful lies about Jews* is ok in this forum. So Blue switched to trolling. And here we are.

There is a reason people like Victor, Jalfrezi, 72off, Deuces left the other Unstuckpolitics to come here to post their anti-israel takes. They would be banned pretty much anywhere else on the English speak internet short of 4chan for their hateful, bigoted takes.

*Note this isn't the moderators making some free speech stance. They don't allow anywhere close to this level of hateful, dehumanizing rhetoric against anyone but Jews.

He may have been a good poster in the past but he went crazy after the white Arabs thing. I don’t think getting banned a couple times gives you license to say other people should get cancer.

At this stage nothing of value was lost.
