Where should I look for short term housing (3-4 months) close-ish to the strip ( 15 mins or less driving )

Sorry, I should have specified $1000 or less and I don’t know where the edit button is obviously

Any hotels on the Strip that will give you a free mini fridge other than vdara?

Horseshoe & Planet Hollywood for sure on the CET side. Excalibur's renovated rooms also have them on the MGM side. I think from memory TI also has them but I'd double check.

Assuming you mean base room and not suites, as pretty much any suite I've ever stayed in has had a fridge.

From memory, we have at least:

Excalibur (Resort Tower only)
MGM Grand (all rooms, recently renovated)
New York New York (Soho Premier rooms)
Horseshoe
Paris
Flamingo
Planet Hollywood
Caesars Palace
Palazzo
Wynn
Encore
Resorts World
Fontainebleu

There are probably a couple of other more obscure ones as well, like Casino Royale and Polo Towers. In addition, places like Venetian, W (formerly Delano) and Bellagio all offer rooms where you at least get a small shelf to put your own things above the 'minibar' part.

Edit: I might be wrong on Venetian and Palazzo, either mixing them up or maybe both are offering an empty fridge.

Edit2: Yes, I love rooms with empty mini fridges 😀

Westgate has free refrigerators in their rooms. It's a couple of blocks off the strip, but it's on the monorail line.

Can anyone recommend a pick up / drop off laundry service that services the las vegas strip I did a search and was unable to locate anything on the site.

TY

You might check Lynne Ji's twitter from back in the summer. She was recommending a PA who'd take care of that and just about anything during WSOP this year. I don't really remember the pricing, but seemed very reasonable at the time.

I am curious if the Bellagio or any of the other major properties in Las Vegas provide the option to send crypto (as opposed to a wire or cash), to use as a marker for when I play there. I know the best way to find this out is likely to reach out to the Bellagio directly, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has ever used crypto (e.g. ETH, USDT, etc.) as a marker and to get yo

I suppose you can ask, but I think you have a 0% chance here. Casinos are subject to very strict anti-money laundering regs.

I just stayed at Excalibur last weekend in a renovated Stay Well room, and I had a mini fridge in my room.

What exactly is a Stay Well room? I've never heard of that term.

https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/hotels/las... explains it all.

Cool. Maybe that_pope can let us know what he thought of the vitamin C shower infuser.

have stayed at multiple stay well rooms,

better air filtration system,, they have a an air rabbit in each room,
shower head filters..

and cleaning ladies have to do a more thorough job after every check out

I mainly got it because it meant I for sure got a newly remodeled room, and it was like $5 more total with my offers. Have no idea if the shower head did anything different.

As for the F1 discussion, I don't know how the pedestrian traffic is, but to prevent people from trying to watch the race for free and to prevent horrible foot traffic, they block off all the pedestrian bridges:

How do people get from one side of the strip to the other?

Stapled to the chicken?

How do people get from one side of the strip to the other?

Sorry my video wasn't clear. They block off the views, they are open, just not for people to stop and watch.

I got some suggested article about the recent MGM Grand room updates and while that's nothing special, what I did read is that they did install a separate guest mini fridge in all the rooms as apart of the remodel. I don't remember if that's been mentioned yet but I know the mini fridge available question comes up here a lot, so just passing it along.

Meh. Typically get a stay well at Beau, shower infuser never impressed or bothered me. Though sometimes the “aroma therapy” in the rooms can be a bit strong. Tends to bother the wife more than me.

I'm in the market for a new car. I'm considering electric for the first time—sorry for being a total noob about this.

Does Aria have free charging stations if you're NOT a hotel guest? I'm MGM gold and get free parking if that matters.

If charging at Aria is free and I'm there 20 hours per week, does that mean I never have to pay for fuel?

YMMV. It's free. But there are only four spots. Tesla a-holes (that aren't even charging!) are almost always parked in the four spots. The charging stations are sometimes malfunctioned.

I wouldn't bank on "free" fuel for the life of your car.

I would think you could quickly determine a "route" that checks neighboring casinos' free charging slots. Once you find one, if Aria's aren't open, it shouldn't be too much of a walk to where you're going to play that day.

How easy/hard can the 5k/10k comp nights be used during Friday/Saturday nights? I'm looking to use 2 of them during the weekend between Christmas and New Years thx

I don't understand the question.

What is a 5k/10k comp night?

He's talking about the free night at CET you get for every 5k tier score. It depends on where you want to use them. CP, you might not be able to. The other properties, you almost always are able to unless they have some big event going. You almost always can find somewhere to stay for free.
