Urban does Vegas again (19th November to 29th November)

What kind of shooting do you want to do? Testing your skill on targets? Or blasting away with machine guns?

Targets would be ideal from chatting to them

I've done Battlefield Las Vegas just off the Strip across from the Circus Circus I believe. I had fun, and wasn't too worried about the expense, which was higher than I wanted to pay, of course. Shop around, though. I'm sure there are better deals.

Yeah I suggested it to them as I did Shoot Las Vegas a few years back. However they seem really expensive now and they are well off the beaten track so will look into Battlefield for sure.

Although I was tempted for myself to do the blowing up a car for $2,200!

If you like targets there are probably some Sporting Clays ranges in and around Vegas (Henderson).

Thursday is all confirmed now for the garage tour at Mclaren. Looks like we are going to be one of their VIPs for practice 1 and practice 2. Honestly so excited now!!

Sounds awesome. Don't think I'm going to actually be doing any F1 stuff, despite being right there at Venetian. Some folks in my group are doing the race and some sort of afterparty, but I kind of slept on getting my sh*t together for any actual race planning.

I tried to reply on your meetup thread but it is not letting me for some reason. Would love to meet up later that day if you guys are still at the tables, hope the drinks are flowing!!

Yeah no worries. P and I were so excited from last years race and experience we just had to book early. With the added bonus as well of one of his family members working for Mclaren F1 we knew we would be sorted for some kind of garage tour/vip experience

Have fun. If you can head to the Venetian Thursday evening, we'll be there! (We are watching F1 at Elara Friday evening -- I think it's in a private room on big screens w/ drinks/food and maybe a window view. We shall see.)

Arrive at my hotel last night all packed and ready so that I don't have to drive in the morning to the airport.

Wake up around 3am in a panic! I left my passport at home!!! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Hope in the car and I have zero charge left in it so have to find somewhere to charge. While doing this I text the boys hoping one of them travelling will be able to pick my passport up from home and luckily get a reply from P saying he will swing by and pick it up. Phew!!!!

We are now on the plane and sat next to some tiktok or some YouTube influencers who are totally unbearable. I have no idea who they are but some of the staff here clearly do the way they are talking. Phones out every few minutes talking into the video camera and just chatting utter bollox. Sigh! This is going to be long. Sleep is calling me. Hopefully not 9 hours or torture.

I was on a flight once with 3 girls that sounded just like that, trying to be Valley girls. Non-stop yammering all flight, luckily only an hour long. They were very loud, you could tell they were several rows behind me. When we landed I stood up to see them. They were trolls, like maybe 3's, and a good 30 pounds overweight each.

Found out they are make up influencers or something rubbish like that.

Flight was crap, never use Virgin they are just the nut low. Especially their upper class

Stupidly long queue to get at a room at the horseshoe. No one was organising anything either that just made it worse. A hour I will never get back

10 mins getting ready in my room and it's right to crapless craps I had an awful roll. Next shooter hit 12 when I had 100 on it so found it easy to recover from a few bad rolls.

Played some Baccarat and after 30 hands I called it even! How I will never know!!

Took an Uber to the dispensary which was right round the corner. Got these to help me sleep

Mixed with a few beers from stage door, a cheap dog it's safe to say I am feeling mellow

Stupidly dump 1500 back on the craps table only to switch to bubble craps and get my first hand pay of the trip.

Save to say I am done and my brain can't write
