They changed their name from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC when they stopped serving chicken! The assumption being they are now serving something not chicken, maybe a vat-grown, genetically altered organism.
Online advertising worked on me yet again, and I headed to Chipotle for lunch with a plan to try their red chimichurri LTO condiment. Ordered it on the side of a barbacoa quesadilla, with a free rewards chips and guac to boot. The chimichurri - A) It was so oily, it almost looked like chili crisp in the cup. i think i prefer a cfa regular sandwich than a cfa deluxe (i already dont get lettuce and save 20 cents on that, do that 50x and you just made yourself a cool Hamilton).
its like cfa chicken, perhaps dipped in ranch, is better without cheese. btw i get cfa deluxe with pepperjack (which i do really enjoy in itself).
100% agree regular CFA sandwich much much much better no cheese; and, just pickle/no lettuce no tomato is better than LTP.
The spicy version is however better with lettuce and tomato, and actually I can take or leave the pickle on it (I usually don't bother to take it off but wouldn't miss it).
Was in AZ this week and happened to stop by Whataburger for second time ever. First time was disappointing, this time I got a patty melt and added bacon and it was a pretty solid FF burger. Fries were pretty weak though.
Arr-Beez has the deep fried turkey sandwich and club sandwich again. Had the regular one on a long roll. Not thin sliced like in a deli, I liked it.

recent happenings with s420wa:
- tried the mini tacos at jitb. cute, tasted like their big tacos, but strictly inferior due to lack of veg and sauce
- got two free mcchickens instead of one. one was a spicy, and it was less disgusting than I remembered
