It's rather fascinating to try and investigate what truly lurks inside of us humans.
It occurs to me that many people simply can not cope with the truth of their own motivations.
My hypothesis is that we are largely tribal zombies. We support our political tribe the way we support our favorite NFL team. That tribal affiliation transcends any philosophically logical foundation.
I agree that most people act that way.
Luckily, I don't support any sports teams and have no interest in who wins or loses any athletic competition.
Seeing so many who do has made a strong contribution to my ideas about the low intelligence of the vast majority of humans.

If the senate really wants to keep the filibuster, they need to return to the way it was done for most of US history. Debate will stay open, as long as the senate is actually debating.

I've always supported securing the border and deporting illegal aliens, but not achieving that by draconian means like ICE raiding businesses.
I even said at the time (on Unstuck I believe) that there was no practical way to deport ten million illegal aliens.
