I think it is entirely possible that he was exaggerating how he typically behaved around women. But as you say, the only possible explanation for exaggerating his behavior in this way is hugely problematic.

Even if one were to ignore what he said and go by your subjective interpretation instead, what you said makes no sense. It’s more understandable when you consider that women generally have a pretty low view of male sexuality and sexual behaviour and are often more forgiving of male sexual bragging.

I'm a little confused on this point as well. Even if you concede that Trump's statement probably wasn't an accurate statement of his actual behavior, it certainly doesn't follow that he respects women or treats them appropriately.
