Urban does Vegas again (19th November to 29th November)
So I am getting this in early as I am just super excited already!
You may or may not remember previous trip reports but I
I avoid the pass line usually
Hop the 7s on the come out for $5 each
After the come out. All in across. After 2 hits pull down, play with casino money (full press every number you hit) and set a stop loss and an amount you regress back on.
After the inevitable 7. Hop the 7s again on the come out and all in across again after.
I totally appreciate this is not the best strategy at all but the key for me is to play with casino money as quick as you can.
pig4bill,
I saw this on you tube, where he first bets on 2, 3, 11, 12. If it hits spread on the numbers depending on the amount won for the first hit.

Thx, will take a look.
So the F1 race day was crazy!
Just P and I were there as the other two were not interested in tickets this year. It's mad to me how much more popular the race was this year compared to last. The amount of people were noticeable higher than last year. Can see why now Vegas is getting another 7 years of this.
The race itself was pretty boring with Max leading after the first corner and there was no other with a chance of ever beating him. Anti climax especially with all the hype beforehand. Part of me thinks I will not be back next year as I think the whole F1 experience this year is going to be very hard to beat. I feel truly blessed to be able to be in the paddock, the garage and pretty much have an all access experience. A bucket list item ticked off for sure.

After the race we text the others and they had no eaten so I suggest we just get some food by our hotel as we have not booked and Vegas is rammed. Pop over to Guy F's place in the Horseshoe. It's too late for me and although I order the steak it's far too much (lol American portions) and fail to make a dent. Steak itself was pretty fatty and not really to my liking. The green sauce (can't remember what it's called) was really nice though. 6/10 meal

The Sunday we head over to the Orleans in the morning for their big tournament they have on. $200 buy in with 50k gtd I think it was. Decent structure for a 1 day event. There are a few others we know there from our home town as they flew in yesterday.
My table is pretty standard but with one exceptional *******. Loud mouth, bragging about having a 6 figure Hendon mob and just an all round douchebag. There is a rule at the Orleans where they say don't critique people's play. Anyway long story short some guy over bets a turn and he gets slammed by this guy for his play. The TD comes over and gives him a warning and he argues the case for 5 minutes saying he was not critiquing. Well I don't usually use my ear pods in a poker but this was a case to put them in so I could drown out this complete spunk trumpet.

I added on at the start for $100 and get an extra 25k chips. For 6 levels we hover around this mark by being totally spot dead and with all the other players playing such huge ranges with lots of limping we have to tread carefully.
The first break we have a spot of meatballs from some food place by the poker room as I missed breakfast. 3/10 and I chucked most it away

Level 7 we open 2.5x from the HJ with J9dd after it is folded to us.
Sb and BB call
Flop J94
Checked to me and it's just the BB who calls.
Turn A (board now has two hearts)
Checked again and I go to nearly 60% pot to set up an all in on the river. Anyway the BB beats me to it and check raises all in to have me covered. Now everything in me right now is saying fold. I am losing here every time as this player is not shoving with anything I beat. However call it tiredness or whatever I call.
He turns over AJ and yep that's me done. One positive I will take is though someone from my hometown game who flew over the day before took the tournament down with a 3 way chop and got the ring! So 10k for him and the ring which means the money is still coming home. Honestly over the moon for him.
I head over to the craps table and turn myself into a 6 and 8 machine. In for $500 out for $4,600. Get a taxi and head straight back to the horseshoe for a complete degen session.
This is where the day becomes a bit of a blur. All I know is we have sessions on the bubble craps, crapless and craps tables. At some point I head over to the Venetian to pick up some hats I ordered for my kids at the F1 shop. On the way back we stop at Harrahs and The Cromwell for a session. At one point we have 3k out ($300 a number) on the crapless table.
More to follow....
I was shocked at how many areas were sold out for the F1.

LFG!
And out
Find two black queens on the button.
Blaster in the HJ raises to 3k at the 1000/1500 level.
Me with 65k make it 10k. He calls.
Flop 662
He checks. I bet 5k and he jams.
Clear snap call
He shows K5o
K river and that's all she wrote.
Off to let off some steam back at the horseshoe
Oof, that’s ugly
Blaster is a good name for him.
So following on from the massive degen session a few days ago we even played some hi limit Baccarat ($100 a hand) and some hi limit BJ which paid 3/2 not 6/5 like the other scummy versions here. Honestly Vegas stop being so greedy and make all tables 3/2 again.
The next morning I decided I needed to switch off from it all and booked another spa day at Caesars. We headed to Ellis Island for breakfast and ordered the ham.

This thing was an absolute beast and managed only half. I will say though it was actually really tasty! 7/10 it's just it's too much!
The evening I decide to head down to Freemont Street and just explore a little. I headed over to the El Cortez at one point and it's packed!!!!
It seems like every streamer/youtuber was in there. We had (from memory):
Vegas Matt
Nick from the on tilt boys
Skater nomad
Bluff
I was on a heater at the craps table and bluff was playing high limit crapless ($1000 a number I think it was). From the looks of things he was not doing well. Not watched the video but I think that I must appear on the stream at some point.
Talking to Vegas Matt he seemed a nice guy and was willing to speak to anyway and answer their questions. Bluff was very much the same and actually came over to a few to speak to them also. The only one who looked totally out of place was skater nomad. Not sure why he was even there as it does not look like he was filming.
Me being me I was more interested in speaking to some of the crew and asked how long a YouTube video etc would take to edit. Surprised these things take over a day at times to get to a point where they are happy to upload them. Maybe I will watch a bit more of them when I get back home.
This leads me onto yesterday nicely.
For the first time this trip yesterday I wake up at just gone 8am so actually had some decent sleep in the end and I wake up feeling so much better than I have all trip. The guys all message asking what to do for breakfast and I politely skip.
Make a few calls back home and to report back the good news on the profits and I catch up with some work bits. The plan was to play the deep stack 2 day event at the Venetian.
No need to report the results here as I already have but I will give the poker room a solid 9/10. The only thing that lets it down for me is that it is so out of the way of the main casino floor. If you want a players card you need to go all the way back.
Anyway after busting the game I was not in the best of moods so decided to make a sharp exit and head back to the Horseshoe to decompress and have a shower.
I did stop at Harrahs for some bubble craps due to the monkey tilt I was on which was a stupid idea until....... In for $500. Out for

Nice I will take that!!
Get back to the Horseshoe and sit down at another bubble craps machines. Yes this decompress and shower is going really well right???
We spin this $500 into this also

Ok day has picked up now. Head over to the live craps table and we give back $1500. Idiot!!!!
Back in the room we shower, lie down and have a little nap. The sleep is crap but I do wake up to find the others have busted the tournament as well and are heading back.
I suggested to meet at the hole in the wall for some food.

First time eating here and you get some good food, service and a cool bit of Vegas history. The price was decent too. Think my meal was $40 or so for wine, soup, garlic bread, chicken parm and a cappuccino for after. I will 100% be back here. Sorry no pictures of the food as was absolutely starving and forgot to take them!
We all head back to the Horseshoe for some drinks as I now get 4 free a day. However when we get there we are all just so full from the meal one of us goes back to the room and myself and the other 2 head to the craps table.
In for $300, we instant 7 out!!
Back in for $700. Point 7 out.
Buy in for $1000 and I can feel myself getting pissed off with these PSOs. However this roll is an absolute monster. We are full pressing everything we hit and go on a long roll.
The cash out

I had also regressed before this but still had what was probably another 2500 on the table before we hit the 7 out.
The night was not done as M wanted to play some crapless bubble craps. He was lowballing but still made a bit of money which he was very happy with. I bought in for 1k and asked if he would like to hit the button for me.
Final result

What an awesome day!!
Great run!!
Incredible day!
OP - did Vegas finally get you?
So sorry for the delay on this. Vegas did not really get me but it was more of the file limit on here tilting me a little. Ok ok I admit Vegas consumed me a little and the utter degen in me took over!!
However here is the rest of the trip..................
Wednesday 26th November
The night before I spoke to a few of the guys and said I would really like a day to chill. LOL it's Vegas like that is ever going to happen. However I did want to pop over to the Bellagio and get some photos of the display there to show the kids back at home.

Safe to say the display was pretty amazing and I cannot believe 2 of the guys I was with had never even seen the chocolate fountain there!
We play a bit of bubble craps at the Bellagio and low ball it. From memory I only started with $200 but spun it up to $500 so it was a laugh and I was showing the guys how I usually play these machines as I was getting asked alot. As some might know craps is not played at all now in the UK as we have no craps tables or even bubble craps so they were asking lots of questions. Safe to say I think I have them hooked now!
Head back to the Horseshoe while stopping at CVS for supplies. The plan was to visit Freemont as P wanted to buy a few things from the gamblers warehouse store and with Thanksgiving being the next day I suggested we go today as it might be shut Thursday. While the others got ready I sat downstairs and got this wonderful hit!!

As you might be able to see from the history all I did was press my 10 each hit and after the 3rd hit it was a handpay. Such a good feeling! While I was waiting for the handpay the guys were already heading downstairs so I just cashed out the rest and was ready for a trip downtown.

You will see from the picture above I bought a few brothel coins from the gamblers store. No idea why I just thought they were pretty funny!
When we get back to the Horseshoe I am starting to feel a little rough. The guys wanted to eat at the heart attack grill and I say I will never go there every year and every year I let myself down and eat there. This year was no different but there was certainly not something right so when we get back I head back to the room for a lie down.
Wake up a few hours later feeling a little better but still not 100%. However I am not wasting this hot streak I am on. I arm myself with 2k and head downstairs and remind myself to not trust a fart this evening as my stomach is awful from the food!
The main craps table looks really busy but the stadium craps machine was pretty quiet. First shooter steps up and PSO's. $500 down. Second shooter, another f'ing PSO and another $500 down. It is my turn to shoot and yes you guessed it another god damn PSO. At this point I am just fueled on pure tilt and mad at myself more than anything else as I am not feeling great and losing money.
Fourth shooter steps up and I have zero hope in this guy. He is wasted, barely able to see the screen to put his bets on and he is only playing the pass line. Oh well here goes my last $500 before I think about heading back upstairs and calling it a night. End result from this shooter

The man was a god!! By now I have actually perked up a bit and think maybe I should play some poker as I have really been slacking this trip and well if my stomach decides to play up more I can just take my chips and go.
We register for $1/$3 and are seated right away.
The guy to my left is moaning about how little action there is at this table so I am not filled with too much confidence this is going to be a great table. Oh how wrong was I to be worried about this!!!!
A few hands in I raise the button to $7 with K6dd
SB and BB calls
Flop 665
Checks to me and I cbet for $6 hoping for a 5 to call or one of the blinds to think I am just playing my position. I got my wish when the SB announces $100. Yes this is not a typo he said $100. He is playing a stack of $250 behind with his bet. BB snap folds and I am thinking what the actual hell is going on. He was the guy moaning about how little action there is on the table but this must be why if his sizing is this mad.
Anyway I flat and before we even get to see a turn card his $250 is in the middle. The dealer pops a 9 on the turn and I just flick a chip in for a call. SB instantly flips over AA and says 'I got ya'
I wait for the dealer to show the river which was a Q and flip my cards over. There were a few swear words thrown my way but who cares when you are raking in a nice double up. Think he was left with $20 which he took off the table and stormed off.
An Indian guy joined the table a little later. Sat down and looked utterly clueless. Now if he was faking this he deserved an Oscar as it would have fooled me. Anyway his first hand he raised to $10. I am in position on the button and 3 bet him to $30 with 89ss as I want to play him HU. SB, BB folds and he comes along for the ride.
Dealer fans a flop of 9 high. He checks and calls my $20 bet. Well I say calls he announces 'match' when I bet this amount.
Turn 9 (in my head I am thinking weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee). He checks and matches my bet of $100
River is a J and with a pot sized bet left when he checks I just rip it in. Again I hear the words 'match'. I show my hand and yes we are shown AK for A high. This table is literally gifting me money.

Cannot remember how much longer we stayed at this table but I remember this night I was in bed before 11pm. Anyway cash table I was in for $300 and cashed out for $1435 after tips
