I happen to think Wake is a lot better than Duke and NC State will beat UNC. But I am hoping for chaos

Yeah they lose the h2h tiebreaker to Bama and they win the tie break against a 1 loss A&M

This isn't why Bama gets in over UGA if Bama and Ole Miss both win, they win the TB based on opponents WP vs UGA and Ole Miss. Since Bama and OM didn't play each other you cant use Bama's win over UGA as a TB

great site that allows you to pick the winners of games and see who goes to the championship and even gives the reason why one team is ahead of another

OM, Bama and ATM still play. If all win, it's ATM vs BamaIf either Bama or ATM lose, it's the one that won vs UGAIf both lose and OM wins, it's UGA vs OMif all 3 lose, it's UGA vs ATMIf 12-0 ATM beats 10-2 Bama, ATM is probably #2, IU/OSU loser drops to #3 and I don't know if TT jumps UGA or not if they win the B12. The 5 seed gets a home game against UNT/Tulane, then plays the

I want to say this isn't on the table, that it's too far to jump, but given they dropped Bama (they usually love us) 6 spots for losing to the #11 team with 95% win equity and double the yards I suppose anything's possible. I do not watch the committee show at all any more, but I *feel like* this year's version are the kind of people who are really impressed by turnovers.

As long as we're not a road team in the first round we'll have a puncher's chance to run the table and, as Bama, that's all that matters. Should they lose the CCG, I hope we let those plucky Vanderbiltonians be the cannon fodder.

SMU, Duke and UVA odds all dropped about 2%

Miami up to 16% to make the ACCG / 12% to win the ACC now

SMU 86% to make it
Duke 6%
Pitt 11%
UVA 80%
GT 1%

Come on smu Duke final

Huh? His question was about UGA needing one of BAMA or A&M to lose. If Bama and Ole Miss both win, but A&M loses, it's BAMA/UGA in the title game.

If BAMA and A&M both win, it's BAMA/A&M in the CG, which was the point of his question.

Right, and Bama winning a TB w UGA and OM has nothing to do with Bama beating UGA, which is what I stated in my last post.

You said Bama wins a TB bc of h2h with UGA, but that isn't true if Ole Miss wins as well. it only applies if there's a 2 way tie for 2nd with UGA and Bama. If there's a multi way tie for 1st or 2nd, Bama beating UGA is not a tiebreaker.

So if aTm loses, and Bama and Ole Miss win,

The SECCG is still Bama/UGA, right?

yes

tamu - win or have both bama and ole miss lose
bama - win in, lose out
uga - needs 1 of bama or tamu to lose
ole miss - needs to win and have both bama and tamu to lose

He didn't ask about Ole Miss tho, and for obvious reasons.

I was answering his question. He didn't ask, but if Bama loses and A&M and Ole Miss both win, it's still A&M/UGA because UGA>Ole Miss. I would guess OP didn't ask about Ole Miss because there's no situation in his question where Ole Miss is relevant to any tiebreakers.

Even if A&M and BAMA both lost, it's UGA/Ole Miss in the CG. There isn't a situation where Ole Miss matters if you're a UGA fan.

I think my point went right over your head. No worries.

Ole Miss could become relevant in tiebreakers bc that's who UGA could end up playing lol. That matters to UGA fans.

Right, but it didn't seem to matter to this one:

Am I correct that UGA needs one of Bama or A&M to lose to get into the SECCG?

Which is the question I was answering. You've decided to talk about who UGA could face, which is fine, but a different question. That might face any of the 3 teams mentioned.

If A&M wins, they can't have BAMA win because, if Ole Miss loses, they lose a h2h tie break. And you're right, if Ole Miss wins, they also lose the 3 way tie break (Conf Opp Win%), but it's still to Bama, not Ole Miss, which is why Ole Miss doesn't really matter for TJ's question.
