Saturday CFB Best Bets
La Tech +8.5
K-State/Ok State Over 50.5
Duke -3.5

A small play on Texas +6.5

Saturday was a bloodbath. No worries as I have found my NFL Play of the Year and will get it all back with one pick today.

Denver Broncos +4.5

Getting nearly 5 points at home. I understand their offense has some issues but the defense will keep this to a one score game at worst. This line is off by 3-4 points and I am scooping up the value.

NFL Play of the Year hits with the Broncos. 3-1 on such games this football season, and in those cases I loaded up to several times my normal unit, this weekend helping me to get even. If such a play presents itself again I will share, but the Chiefs laying that many points in an extremely tough environment, vs that defense, was borderline criminal oddsmaking.

It's not quite that strong but let's take Cowboys/Raiders Over 50.5. I do like the LV defense but the Cowboys provide all we need here to bust that number, a very good offense and a really bad defense. The Raiders will be able to move the ball with ease and Jeanty will have a monster night.

Took a weekend off to recharge - Thanksgiving Day picks below

Lions -2.5
The sharps and data nerds are all giddy over the take that Goff doesn't fare well under pressure, and it's just a given that Parsons will be in his grill all day. I am taking a decidedly contrarian approach to this. Jahmyr Gibbs is about to officially declare himself as RB1 in all of football if he hasn't already, and the Pack D will not be able to tee off as much as they'd like. Add in a rabid Detroit home field advantage, and what I would imagine is an exhausting Jordan Love experience for Cheeseheads is made even more painful on Turkey Day in the Motor City.

Chiefs/Cowboys Over 52.5
This should be the most entertaining game of the day. Both teams desperately need the W. The Cowboys offense has been firing lately and even against a decent Chiefs D, I see that continuing as Lamb is overdue for a huge game and Pickens is having a career year. Mahomes will have to air it out vs a rapidly improving Boys rush defense. Both teams get to 30+.

Bengals +7
Just kidding. I hate this game and would never play it in Burrow's first game back. Do I think he'll be fine and probably give Chase a 10 rec for 140 yard day with a TD or two? Yeah, but the defense is so bad that Derrick Henry might go for two hundo. I'm leaving it to you all but if I had to play it I would hold my nose and play the Bengals plus the touchdown.

Black Friday NFL Best Bet: Eagles -7

It could be ugly for both offenses, but uglier for the Bears. I keep getting my "Saquon is back" takes postponed pretty much every week, but I gotta think the Eagles won't pull a Todd Monken (Derrick Henry just 10 carries vs the Bengals) for the second straight week (Saquon barely touched the ball at the Cowboys) and he will break some big gains off vs a wounded Bears back 7.

Let's call it Eagles 27-16.
