There was a couple threads in NVG about it, Basically Alan Keating said they used AI to change something he said and then a firestorm opened up and a couple days later WSOP posted that they took all the videos in the series down so they could fix it to their standards. lol
meanwhile its been weeks now and they still haven't fixed it and there was still 2 episodes unaired.

Rice has no shame and is giddy even taking advantage of his friend.It's one thing to order expensive food when your friend is paying bc that's normally what you order. It's another thing entirely to order pocket bread and steal food in lounges smuggled out in cups when you pay but run up a tab on a friend. And of course the only meal this guy has gotten H&R was at a food court
Good points. When he's paying he eats like a hobo, when someone else is paying then nothing is too good or too expensive, and yeah why not order 2 dishes while I'm at it.
I get the sense that Rice just imposes himself on Herbs and Rye and H&R just goes along with it because he's a very easy going laid back character. This time H&R came to Vegas with a friend who Rice doesn't even know and somehow Rice still managed to finagle two free feasts and counting...

Yeah nothing wrong with loving a good Pad Thai. It's definitely the orange chicken of Thai food though. It's the one dish everyone has heard of. And it's the first dish that even non lovers of Thai food probably will try and enjoy. Nothing wrong with that either.
This is spot on and describes me to a T. The two cuisines I rarely eat are Thai and Indian, and when I do it is always Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Tikka Masala..

I meet a friend about once a month for a buffet lunch (obviously, pay in advance), and I'm Always early and he's always late. So I just pay for both of us rather than look like a nitter.
He's a great friend and it's not about the money, and he always says "I'll get it next time",
so that makes it ok.
I'd buy 1000 lunches rather than jeopardize our friendship.
I went over The Orleans on Saturday afternoon to get lunch over at Ondori. Afterwards, I went down near the poker room and saw the whack pack member & President Rice.
He was just an average, overweight, short and very bald non descript man. He’s just the average typical degen loser in LV. His uniform was all F’d up and appeared dirty. He had an air though about him that he thought he was better than the other dealers. And he was waiting near the rail by himself, distancing himself from the tourney dealers.
Otherwise, he appeared as an average, broke, degen, low roller poker player in LV, similar to the biggest LV loser Pooper97.

I also have to say ive enjoyed the videos ive watched from him. Genuine,down to earth,well reflected guy is my impression.
He's certainly much easier to like and root for than rice. For one thing, he's not a smug arrogant know it all while literally being on the lowest rung in life like Rice. Kind of a grubby move with stealing the condiment packets but at least he was staying on that property anyway so I reckon that makes it less egregious than what Rice does. At least he actually seems to be willing to go and pay for nice food instead of mooching of everyone else around him.
He obviously is still a bit out there for living the way he does. His origin story being that he had a nightmare neighbour who burnt his car, and his current lifestyle is his reaction to that. I mean sure that is a bit rice-like, being overly reactionary. But at least he has plenty of redeeming qualities.
He has copped a lot of hate, likely from Rice's most devout worshipers. Yet he still responds to it in a very mature and courteous manner without resorting to insults or temper tantrums. He even acknowledges that he has a lot to learn from his followers, something Rice would never say or admit in a million years
My theory is that since ELD speaks Spanish there is a big deal about turning 15 in the Spanish culture and it is a huge birthday celebration.

The other funny aspect that Rice wearing a dirty, unkempt uniform is still an upgrade to his normal attire of 3XL basketball shorts and 10+ year old T-shirts with holes that were given to him for free.

ELD states that Nomads enjoy being cold and ELD misses the freezing air vent in the break room which was recently adjusted to vent out lukewarm air.
ELD states he is now parking at Ballys and this could increase the odds of a possible run in with Casino Nomad who is Nomadic Bally's resident. Perhaps ELD could trade a parmesan cheese packet for some hot sauce or horseradish.

I played with him for all of 20 minutes years ago in a $1/3 game. The whole time he made stupid comments how I was a “pro” buying in full and having a backpack without me saying a word to him.
Feel like he’s the type that doesn’t want to play tougher competition and rightfully so. I can’t see some nit that short stacks $1/3 with $100 doing well in bigger games.

One of my fav strawman arguments from him is when commenters was flaming him when he was looking forward to a basic chicken parm dish when he for one time that year where travelling to a decent steakhouse.
