Generally speaking you win and lose the most in great games. So nothing wrong with sometimes taking a big loss in a great game. But trooper NEVER had a great session in one of these games.

Agreed,wich was my overall point as well. If you drop around $1000 in what he claimed was very good 1/2 NL tables over and over again,then something doesent add up.

The variance in NL is not that big after all,especially not in 1/2 or 1/3 capped buyin games.

I’m bringing this up because a lot of people new to slots don’t fully appreciate the variance involved. That there is a casino full of people taking -ev spots and still having a good enough experience to keep coming back. That there are times that I’m playing a good setup and losing and the normie that just sits down and starts playing at reset then keeps crushing it and cashes out for a big profit while I’m a big loser

Like regal riches, what’s lost in his “I play 57 whereas others play 62 and I make money” is there’s plenty of people who play that at the 25 it resets to and still make money - that if he ran as hot as he did in the video he shared that he would have made money regardless of where the counter was when he started - so he takes his really good results and believes it’s due to having a winning system and doesn’t realize that is just how slots work and some idiots playing terrible setups will still make money sometimes

In fact whenever there’s a new game without any info out there and I’m exploring it and trying to find if and when it is playable I sometimes run pretty well and trick myself into believing a number far lower than when it’s actually +ev is good because I ran pretty hot the first dozen times I played it. There’s a number of machines I thought were +ev when they first came out that I now don’t play at all because I’m now convinced they are ap traps
