This is another amazing feature of Americans. They don't travel. And then anyone who does travel, they attack them. Quality stuff gents.

I’m quite certain the attack was due to the obvious sex angle for someone who, after being in Thailand for a month, needed to get back asap. That ain’t “travel”. That’s “going where I can pay to get laid cuz I can’t get laid where I’m from.”

Ya I don't think there's sex tourism in Cambodia/Vietnam so makes sense to need to immediately get back to Thailand for that and not for any other reason.

it was part of the original post lol. the people who vie for correctness (omg they are undocumented, not illegal!!!!!!!! we need to change the terminology asap so feelings don't get hurt) also happily regurgitate trump = rapist, even though that's not correct, if we're talking about the law.

You realise civil law is still law right? In legal terms Trump can accurately be called a rapist because he has been found liable of committing rape. He doesn't need to have been criminally convicted for it to be accurate when talking about the law.

That's not quite right for the LLPs. Sexual abuse is the accurate term.

But would a major political party be leading the insurrection, declaring they are going to resist following federal laws passed by the democratically elected govt in cities they control?Seems the only time something even remotely like this happens in Europe, it is a right wing party protesting farm confiscation (or something along these lines) and it is widely condemned by the

Well the local governments that I mentioned would strongly resist the action would almost certainly be part of major political parties, so I guess the answer is a rough yes, at least insofar as it would parallel the actual rhetoric from Democrats in the current situation in the US, i.e. a moderate amount encouraging non-violent resistance and a tiny fringe advocating more serious action.

Also lol at "farm confiscation" being a framing of anything happening in Europe. I'm guessing you're referring to the recent protests in the UK about changing the thresholds for inheritance tax but framing it as "confiscation" is on the level of "all taxation is theft" rhetorical nonsense. As for the condemnation, the fact it's being protested has probably had quite significant criticism, the actual protests and methods of it have had fairly minimal condemnation.

Right, I was conflating the judge explicitly saying that what Trump was found liable of was rape "according to the common meaning of the word" but that NY law had a stricter definition that meant he was only found liable of sexual abuse and forcible touching. In legal terms it's still much closer to being accurate to call Trump a rapist than it is to call any person an illegal (unless you include anybody who has ever committed any crime, civil or criminal, proven or not, in that category).

The problem that the fascist in this thread are struggling over is, they don't see any problem w/ what ICE is doing in these communities.Hence, if an activist creates any opposition, and they put themselves in "harm's way" to any degree... they get what they deserve. This is the fascist mentality. If you're exhibiting this... congrats! Don't get confused, this is the same thing

I do believe earlier you said they were in Blue States only could that be that blue states have lots of sanctuary cities in them and that is were illegals go ?

This shooting shows you how screwed up the USA is . You have Noem calling it a domestic terrorism and Trump and Vance calling it a justified killing within hours and the governor and Mayor calling it Murder . Not one of them will wait for all the facts

While you have CNN and MSNOW making sure their experts call it murder while Fox has their experts call it a good shoot

My two cents worth as a declared Maga Nazi is the questions I have why was her vehicle parked across the street? Why would any officer have his gun drawn ? Also if you feared for your life the first reaction would be to jump out of the way shooting the lady is not going to stop the vehicle. Why the two shots from the side if one of those killed her its second degree murder .
I would ask were is the Minneapolis police? I know the mayor had ordered them not to assist ICE but you still have a job to do

Sadly this lady made many stupid choices that led to her being shot but she deserved to be arrested not shot. Let her drive off get the license arrest her later. I think the officer should be charged with second degree murder .

ICE is in liberal cities only. Not conservative ones

What would be an example of a “conservative” city that ICE should be in but isn’t?

by Dunyain m

Oh look, new evidence today has come out that Goode was exactly there to harass and impede law enforcement actions, and this had been going on for several minutes before it escalated till a tragic end.

The new video evidence shows the ICE agents were in absolutely no danger whatsoever and decided to approach her because they were mad she was honking at them. It shows how deranged and unhinged they are.

If someone is verbally “harassing” you for “several minutes” that shows they aren’t an imminent danger and you didn’t consider them one. It throws away any pretext of them thinking they were in some kind of physical harm. We also see that she is driving away, and doesn’t have her vehicle pointed at anyone. The ICE officer that shot her is the one that jumped in front of the vehicle.

It’s just ridiculous all around your interpretation.

Exactly what anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should have deduced because her "wife" was filming the whole thing from outside the car, which means it was clearly premeditated and had been going on awhile.

Of course the MSM "reporting" on the incident knew this the whole time, and was intentionally obfuscating because they knew it would work on the intended audience. Which is why instead of just "reporting" what happened, which they knew, they were interviewing people thousands of miles away to speculate what may have happened, and framing it to seem as if this might be true.

Oh no, a premeditated protest!

Are you going to call out Trump who said that she was clearly attempting to violently assault an officer with a vehicle? No, the president of the US gets more leeway than random articles written on the same day of the event.

Edit: the video I was talking about

https://xcancel.com/AZ_Intel_/status/200...

Former ICE agent points out how tactically stupid it was for the ICE officer to position himself in FRONT of the vehicle. By doing so, the agent enables a violent confrontation. And that’s exactly what the stupid ****er got.

"I don't understand the tactical or law enforcement advantage of someone on foot in front of a moving, running or occupied vehicle. You're almost inducing a shooting if that person decides to flee," he said.

The lady obviously never should have been there, especially given that the ICE agents are incompetent ****ing ******s, just like Trump and those who support him.

Question for lawyers/anyone with legal acumen and apologies if this was covered as I haven't checked too far back in the thread.

Vance is claiming the ICE agent has absolute immunity, surely that's up to a DA to investigate and if need be, present to a grand jury to see whether or not charges are warranted?
Minnesota authorities claim FBI are blocking investigation in some respects

The agent actually was in hospital but this was last year in a separate incident and the Trump admin appear to be conflating the two wrt the hospital claim.

Also one thing to point out is that the guy was apparently on his phone recording her. Why is a LEO pulling out their phone, AND unholstering his weapon without full control of it? He literally kept recording as he shot her while she was driving off. So much for his major injury. You’d think if he was hit with any type of force he would have dropped his phone.

Cops don’t have absolute immunity, they have qualified immunity. It’s up to a judge to make that determination. He is clearly trying to put his finger on the scale.

I was wondering that and he also seemed to immediately pull his gun out even before Renee Good tried to flee.

Also, could Vance's assertion potential put the lives of Federal officers potentially in danger? If someone thinks a Fed has absolute immunity re fatal shootings, then all bets are off and a suspect/protester/anyone really might be more inclined think they've nothing to lose and shoot first if armed?

So this is just a flat-out lie.

Lazy Lozen, ladies and gents, always happy to blame the victim in favour of his orange pedo nazi god...

Seems to be the truth if we're following the 'AP is reporting' rules

Yeah, seems incredibly inappropriate for the sitting administration to declare someones innocence in no uncertain terms while painting the other person as a domestic terrorist

Seems like the type of thing that could make a trial untenable

How many murderers were there?

Thats not body cam footage that is his phone

Phone in one hand, gun in the other

The officer clearly leaked this himself to a right wing news outlet hoping it would exonerate himself
