The whole point being Ive done an absolute ton of this via 21 and pokerz and am pretty good at figuring out which way the wind blows and I dont want my interwebz pals gettin werked

Kinda the nut low thread, imo, with mainly just a bunch of *******s with seemingly nothing better to do clowning on some unfortunates. Although for some reason it is also a guilty pleasure of mine to read, and I'm incredibly disappointed in myself for that.

thread used to be gold - last year or so it's gone full blown deranged where you used to laugh at the people they discussed and now instead laugh at the posters as well

U guys got it wrong. The thread vloggers is a peek through the looking glass of what its like to actually spend your working life in a casino. The complete detatchment from reality from the whack pack juxtaposed with the vitriol of our thread heroes doing the lords work is truly a thing of beauty and must be savored.

i should elaborate

she never really put herself out there - ie empty table and she didn't sit next to me nor move over when i engaged her in some small talk

she was very friendly and all smiles but wasn't the driver of any conversations and never made an effort to flirt

i wasn't interested - i am in a very committed relationship with the woman of my dreams, but the entire time i was trying to figure out how on earth she was expecting to make a sale

i'm guessing she's worried about getting tossed (hence why i've never seen one like this at the tables before) so perhaps she was just going to be present and then hoping someone would ask her to go to get a drink at the bar or something idk

i get more of a kick of the posters who blatantly lie like "i saw timmy crying at a slot machine yesterday" or those who are obsessed enough to track down their linkedin and high school newspaper articles and all those who love that and eat it up asking for more

and mind you, i wrote erotic fan fiction in that thread - and i'm not even top 20 most unhinged poster in that thread

I have to confess I check in on the v-logger thread regularly but can't imagine actually posting in it myself. Kind of like looking while driving by a road wreck.

That thread is the worst. It's thousands of posts all saying essentially the exact same thing. The only difference is which down on their luck person they're going to pick on this week. I know down on their luck isn't exactly right, but you know what I mean.

Dont sell yourself short there champ. u definitely in the top 3 unhinged poasters with the fan fiction...i say that in with the upmost respekt for your fan fiction which was absolutely glorious in its level of unhingedness. Even now the images you evoked still elicit a gag reflex. thank you for being a part of making that thread the ossum mess it is

I was about to myself.

I check in on it occasionally to get cliff's notes because I don't really want to watch the vlogs that much. But it is pretty repulsive. Even if some struggling 1/2 vlogger is not someone I'd want to be friends with, I can't imagine spending hours and hours of my life hate watching, wishing for him to suffer.

It's a bit surprising to me it hasn't been shut down as it has spilled over into things like home addresses being posted, people calling Westgate to try to get Trooper fired, etc.

The argument is always something like, "well you choose to live your life in public," as if these dudes are running for president or something. I mean, obviously, if you make a blog about playing poker, it's only natural and right that I should make public posts about how ugly your girlfriend is and how I hope you become homeless.

There's also this weird kind of group hysteria thing where they comb over every nuance and hallucinate things that aren't there. "Did you see how Nomad raised his eyebrow when he said he bought dividend stocks? That arrogant SOB. Probably thinks he knows more about investing than Warren Buffet."

6betme incited a lot of poker- and life-related criticism based on his absolutely nonsensical poker journey but people were crossing the line, especially by saying mean things about his wife and their relationship. Dude seemed like a nice guy with personality issues, based on the thread responses you'd think he was some sort of horribly abusive goblin.
