2025 NFL Season Thread: Can Uncle Rico save the Broncos or will they be Nixed?
Greetings friends.
Those of you who know me know me as a Niners fan full of fantastical levels of vitriol and rage. I hav
He's locked down worst record in OT before a win, no way anyone else in history is going worse than 0-7
Someone remind me again which one(s) of these the Bills were supposed to win.
Bills were a TD favorite over the Giants in XXV (and had beaten them already in the regular season).
The Bills are the probably the one team that has had it worse than The Lions over the years.

lol kickerament
Edit: Regular season score was 17-13. SB Line was wildly inflated due to the CG resultsβBuf crushed LOL 51-3, while NYG miracled a 15-13 death match in SF (Good morning, SRM. Do ya remember THIS ONE!!! when we were going for a THREEPEAT???) Bills had scored most points in reg, Giants allowed the fewest.
In the game, played in Tampa, NY held the ball 40:33 and there were no turnovers.

Iβm neutral being a Niners fan, but thereβs no way imo a Bills Vikings Bengals or even Falcons fan would trade with a Lions Browns or Jags fan.
The Joys of Being a Dolphins Fan.
Imagine having the winningest coach in NFL history AND a QB whose records would go unbroken for years after retiring. Only to get blown out in their 1 SB appearance, and then going 4-5 in the playoffs.
Marino's last 2 playoff losses were absolute drubbings; 38-3 to DEN and 62-7 to JAX.
After which he retired, and since 2000, Miami has had
1. 10 head coaches...11 if you count the new guy (not me, Hafley)
2. 11 starting QBs
3. 6 playoff appearances
4. 1 playoff win (in 2000)
The only QBs they've had that could be labeled as franchise QBs post-Marino were a guy that played his first two years of college as a WR, and a guy that can barely throw the ball 30 yards if there isn't any wind.
The SB Bills were "supposed to win" line was -6.5/-7 primarily because Simms was out. In the regular season game in December Giants were -4 over Bills w/ Simms. Both Simms and Kelly were knocked out of that game, with Kelly not returning until the playoffs.
Of course the bigger story was the 9ers as 8 pt fave unable to run out the clock against Giants in NFC chp. IIRC prior to the game 9ers were -125 to win SB and the elusive 3-peat.
Craig actually fumbled twice on that ill fated drive, but only the last one mattered.
Probability of Bills losing all 4 of those SBs was about 12% based on GA MLs. Or, a ML parlay against the Bills would have paid about 7:1. Of course getting past the first game required some luck, but after that it was all downhill. During that span they faced arguably the greatest team IRT statistical output, 1991 Washington. Up 37-10 I stopped watching and assumed my -6.5 was good, but Bills did put up some meaningless TDs to make the score more respectable.
I’m so happy Fat Mike is making a return to the bad coaching thread.
So this confirms Rodgers is coming back as well?
It was an incredible 57 year run by Pittsburgh, will never be approached.
AHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAAHAHAH IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED
the best thing about this is that they’ve had 2 coaches in the last 40 years
Fat Mike Forever!!!!!!!!!
The shame in all of this, as it seems beyond obvious now that Stealers would hire him, but Fat Mike was 11c to get the job less than 5 hours ago. $1.2M market.
Hope some 2p2 faithful cashed.
To double back to the team I wouldn't want to be a fan of.
Easily the Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears have had 43 different starting quarterbacks since the 1985 season.

And out of all of those (pre Caleb) Jay Cutler was the best one and he turned out to be a head case.
Caleb certainly has the physical tools to be great. What's between the ears is yet to be determined. It just seems like every time Bears fans get their hopes up, somehow it crashes and burns.

So on these alt markets you could buy Fat Mike for 11c but it pays you $1. So essentially 9 to 1? Haven't dabbled in them yet, just trying to fit how they work in my brain.
Fat Mike definitely the one to get them over the hump lololol

Iβve heard tale, but I was a toddler at the time

I dunno man, if I had 4 straight years of getting to the Super Bowl and losing Iβd think the only reason god is real is cuz it truly hates me
it's days like this that i wish we had a resident 2+2 stealers fan
Omg

Yes. You and the counter party take sides in a contract totaling $1.00, with the correct side awarded the $1.00. In the case of Fat Mike becoming Stealers coach, you would take Yes side for 11c, and the counter party would take No side and put up 89c, totaling $1.00. Once the contract is graded as Yes, you get the $1.00 for your 11c investment.
Hot take:
Bills hire Daboll HC, Davis Webb OC, Raheem Morris DC.
Steelers ownership definitely thinks fat mike still gives them a playoff floor. They must not be familiar with his game.
