Surprised you guys giving him zero empathy . He genuinely liked it at PH and was happy there , and while I also think rice is an Uber nit and cheapskate , still doesn't stop me for hoping the best for him .

As an avid hiker and backpacker who flies out to Arizona 1 to 2 times a year to get out in the Superstitions and other wilderness areas, kudos to Rice for today's video. Really enjoyed it. I've never "hiked" where he went. Looked fantastic. Currently planing on climbing some peaks in the Tucson area over President's day weekend, but may hit those trails instead....
Odds are he dips his toe in the water for a bit again as a 1/3 "pro", but once the realization sets in that he is only making $10/hr plus two free waters per day, he will start looking for another dealing job.
Again, no shame in that. He has actually backed into some level of maturity over the past 9 months, although he somehow believes that he is still gaming the system.
I am not so shure about how much he have actually matured though,its more like he was pushed into a corner over time where he basically didnt have any real choice.
He was sinking close to as low as possible over multiple years,living like a homeless,sardineslurry or other dog food for lunch,weekends roaming around without any place to stay,forced to sleep in his car for some stretches and lots more.
But yeah,he finally made the choice of dealing to earn a decent wage when he was forced to- instead of an absolute bottom of the barrell busto promogrinder lifestyle.
How are jobs outside of gambling in Vegas? Feel like Rice would excel in a grunt job like overnight stocking at a grocery store (getting a nice work out a plus) for $16 an hr and not worry about bills and still play 1/3 on his off days. He already lives very cheaply seems like he needs a career if he’s got a lot of stress from poker swings tho.

If he can actually make that whopping ten an hour he might waste his life and stick with it for a while. But his double digit hourly days are way behind him.
He abuses benefits like a scumbag, in a way that screws up those benefits for other people.

furthermore, even if they did, they'd just eat the loss because it'd cost more to have someone there enforcing consumption limits in addition to upsetting other employees
ELD has extensive experience in the UPS field and still has all the uniforms as well.
ELD is currently on a Nomadic trip to Arizona for self discovery and reflection.
And on the drive back to Vegas, ELD will reveal his future employment.
Hopefully ELD can work on his writing career with expected book such as:

followed up by a sequel entitled: The Rubric: How I was Scammed in Law School.
and finally, a third book entitled: The Permanent Address: No Deposits No Return.

Thread detour - was just in Tucson last week, did a couple hikes. Seven Falls is Bear Canyon Rd and Wasson Peak in Saguaro National Park. Both decent, liked seven falls better. Not sure what you mean by climbing….we just day hike with no equipment. Arizona offers endless hiking opportunities, plan on spending serious time there in a year.

This is a tough choice for ELD.
One hand, if he goes to Caesars Palace, he will not be able to earn the 51 tier points per hour in order to get Platinum status.
Whereas if he goes to Horseshoe then will he be able to stay at [Bally]Horseshoe for Nomadic Hotel stays?
But if he goes to Caesars Palace then he can park at Bellagio and walk over since he has Gold tier.
Of course, it would have to be determined which property has the best EDR.
ELD could request that he work at Horseshoe for two months in order to first earn Platinum tier then transfer to Caesars Palace for the remainder of his time.
Either Horseshoe issues him a Bally's shirt to wear when he deals or he's taking that Raiders head coaching job.

ELD could look into becoming a trainer in the Weight Room.
Ideally he could get an office in the Weight Room and then live Nomadically in the parking garage and Weight Room private office.

Well summarized. In comparison, Rice makes a Trooper look almost a nice guy.
Trooper might be a jackass in the wild, but he does have customer service/social skills that Rice seems to lack. Probably from all those years in the restaurant industry.

Rice can barely bring himself to play an hour during the tier credit multiplier to get his 98 hours for gold status. Whether he gets another job, gets unemployment, goes home to his parents or anything else, he not gonna try to play poker for a living no more. And certainly not in "Los" Vegas "Ne-vah-duh.
(Yes, I find it mildy irritating that he pronounces Las as Los and Nevada as Nevahduh. I don't care about his misprononunciation of Horseshoe as "Bally's" though.)
