No problem. That was pretty brutal. We both had some awful words because of the expanded list.

Had 4 animals but didn't know how to loop all 4 in and still keep the spirit of the game intact.

Pipe is must-guess.

I understand lead, but don’t think it’s the same tier as pipe. Lead works as a synonym for clue though, and they follows tons of leads in the plot. Not bad.

I don’t think orange would be legal. There’s mustard, green, white, scarlet, plum, peacock. I don’t remember any oranges laid out in the parlor or served with the monkey brain soup. Same with gold, though mustard is fairly adjacent to both gold and orange.

I like the pool connection. Yvette gets got in the billiards room with the rope.

Play makes more sense as a traditional codenames word, but they’re not really playing a game in the movie.

I don’t remember an undertaker. No one would’ve come to pick up bodies until after the movie ended.

The chef hits a gong to indicate dinner is served, so not triangle.

There’s kind of a mole (spy) in the plot. Could be decent.

green and white are two character names; I think orange is ok; the connection is they use colors for names

but you are right that it's lower odds since it's not green or white

I like pool more than mole; I don't like gold

Fine with dropping undertaker; I think play is in play because it's a movie based on a game and it's also a play and musical as well

All of them are named after colors, save peacock (which is multi-colored). Gold is also a color. If we’re going by “their pseudonyms are colors,” I don’t really see how is orange any better than gold.

just because orange is a normal color like green and white; gold has a lot of meanings; peacock/scarlet/mustard are non-normal colors, so gold could be in play, but seems weaker to me than gold; i dunno

Oh, yeah, Play makes sense. I haven't seen it, like I said, so I trust whatever you want to bold third, or I'm OK with passing after two
