NFL Offseason 2026
it's the most wonderful time of the year for pretend GMs - the NFL Offseason!
Sure the games are fun, but the 7 months of
Sure but no pile that size ever burned for a millennium no matter how morose the mercury.
Actually looking at their schedule, 2.5 is more likely.
when you say 'objectively' what are you basing it on?
QBR in those 3 years,
Russ was 8th, 5th, 8th
Pat in those 3 years 8th 8th 6th
with Pat having higher QBR in two of the 3 seasons
wins pretty much the same
Approximate Value (IMO the most useful 'general' advanced stat)
Wilson those 3 years 14, 15, 17
Mahomes those 3 years 15, 14, 14
seems pretty line ball IMO?
Sounds like comparing their trajectory seems pretty fair then. Not really getting into a debate on if Wilson was better but he was an MVP candidate a few of those years and made the playoffs each year on some pretty bum teams.
idk if its the line but saw a pro bettor saying they are now a 4 win team
still better than the jets π
Miami will get at least 2 wins.
Spoiler
Against the Jets
Chiefs pushed the can down the road another year on Pat's deal, creating a ton of room by turning his salary into a bonus and spreading the hit out over 5 years.

interesting, as I assumed they would do an extension this offseason vs a restructure. As it stands next season he will have an $82m cap hit and $87m dead cap
They could conceivably do the same thing again next offseason with his $45m salary, but I expect they'll do the big extension then. Although if he has another down year it would be interesting to see what that looks like
For one year, I think Iβd probably have McCaffrey still
Bijan could break one any time (and anywhere) he touches the ball.
my lord prime christ mc is something to behold
he runs with a particular purpose and powerful grace while vivisecting your favorite team in a lector sort of way that is a joy to watch
No pre season Dolphins bets for me this year on either side of the coin. I'm just going in expecting pain and rooting for the impossible.
low expectations is the best way to be for the die hard fan IMO. My favourite team (the goat rugby league team Sydney Roosters) had their roster gutted after 2024 and went into 25 with a bunch of kids and predictions of a bottom 4 finish. They scraped into the a fist rd playoff loss and it felt like a huge victory. The previous few years theyβd had high expectations, lost in the second rd and it was heartbreaking
go giants, they're my team again
jest you are dead to me
lions u still cool too
49ers cool too cuz of SRM
