How high does Jeremiyah Love go? As good as Bijan and Gibbs have been... does it still make sense to take a RB that high?

You could make an argument that 4 of the top 5 RBs are top 10 picks in Bijan Gibbs CMC and Barkley.

I’d have them J Taylor and D Henry as my top 6?

That wasn't exactly my question. CMC, Gibbs, and Bijan are fantastic... as was Barkley. How high does Jeremiyah go if you want to build a franchise? Saquon likely wouldn't have won much if he stuck with the Giants. CMC either if he didn't go to the 9ers. Gibbs is in a good situation after some trades and high draft picks. So where do you pick Jeremiyah?

Chiefs seems like a good landing spot . I’m seeing the Commanders taking him in a lot of mocks .

Would love to see him on KC, but Saints might get to him first. That could be fun as well.

Saquon not succeeding on the Giants was because they're the ****ing Giants. They're only not a complete laughing stock because they share a stadium with the LOL JEST

I know you weren’t saying that, but I thought it was relevant.

I don’t watch college football so I’ve no idea how good he or the other guys are etc but I’m a subscriber to World Theory and if I have any kind of need an there’s a suitable talent at that position then I’m always going O lineman and D lineman if I don’t need a QB and I’m in the top ten.

I wouldn’t sign a WR in the top 10tbh. To me that feels like the position where there are so many coming through each year that there’s no need to spend that high.

I do think RBs are undervalued relative to other positions though, particularly financially at second contract which is perhaps an argument to sign a free agent or maybe trade for a top guy in his 3rd or 4th year who played for a team that might not extend him.

great news for Jets, Dolphins and Cardinals fans!

Jets cap is actually quite incredible to behold

they have $91m in dead cap charges in 2026 and STILL have $88m in cap space!

they might get very frisky in free agency with large second year option bonuses

must consolidate all left handed injury prone qbs on the same team.

lol unless they do a Tua for Penix trade

more on the Jets because it actually fascinates the dork in me. And I really like what they're doing trades wise in terms of what they got for Williams, Gardner and Johnson

they have ONE player contracted beyond 2027 who isn't a draft pick - Garrett Wilson. And $201m in cap space for 2027

When you think they have 2 1s and 2 2s this year (including the 2nd and 33rd picks) and then 3 1s next year and my guess is that their 2027 pick is very likely to be top 5, they really have an incredible situation for a GM if he's any good.

if they can successfully pull off the tank this year and get the #1 pick then it would be really great fun

I’ll get my paper bag ready for when I go to a game.

LOL JEST.

I ain’t showing my fandom face on TV.

Please no Tua.

He’s damaged goods, and won’t be in the NFL in two years

If they (or anyone else) signs him, I doubt it would be for more than 1 year.

Although I'm not sure how the contract length would work if Miami was actually able to get someone to do a trade.

Kyler to be released before Free Agency
Tua surely next
Trey Hendricksen confirmed to hit the market
Drew Dalman retiring at age 27 and with $12m guaranteed for this year seems surprising - 4th rd pick so he's had one big year of salary...$18m last year. Now....that's a ton and I'd be retiring if I got that much too, but it's rare that a guy at his age, coming off a Pro Bowl year, with a lot of short term AND great long term financial prospects retires

Guessing it's medical or sth? EDIT - went to Stanford and was an Academic All American, so perhaps super smart and had something big lined up.

probably going to go work for Andrew Luck.

my bro played vs Dalman’s dad in HS before he played for Stanford and the 49ers and i partied with his uncle in community college. the family doesn’t need the money

Must be nice. All I got is a Trust Fun.

Makes sense except….families that don’t need the money…generally like making lots more money
