NFL Offseason 2026
it's the most wonderful time of the year for pretend GMs - the NFL Offseason!
Sure the games are fun, but the 7 months of
ARod back to the Jets for the lulz
Trent McDuffie to the Rams for a 1,3 and 4
The Chiefs really donβt seem to like paying CBs
The irony is they only got McDuffie as an indirect result from not wanting to pay Tyreek and having the extra capital to trade up and get him.
Which would make them bringing back Tyreek even more hilarious.

Reading this it really surprised me that Hill has been at the Dolphins for 4 years already
Kyler to be released before Free AgencyTua surely nextTrey Hendricksen confirmed to hit the marketDrew Dalman retiring at age 27 and with $12m guaranteed for this year seems surprising - 4th rd pick so he's had one big year of salary...$18m last year. Now....that's a ton and I'd be retiring if I got that much too, but it's rare that a guy at his age, coming off a Pro Bowl ye
Niners had a 2nd rd LB who retired unexpectedly after great second season due to concussions.
Jets cap is actually quite incredible to beholdthey have $91m in dead cap charges in 2026 and STILL have $88m in cap space!they might get very frisky in free agency with large second year option bonuseshttps://overthecap.com/salary-cap/new-yo...
more on the Jets because it actually fascinates the dork in me. And I really like what they're doing trades wise in terms of what they got for Williams, Gardner and Johnsonthey
Itβll probably be the equivalent of Indiana hiring Cignetti who brings along a dozen 25yoβs from JMU while Cuban turns on the transfer money firehose, except for the exact opposite because lol jest.
Feels like more of the Rams saying F them picks.
The Chiefs really don’t seem to like paying CBs
This is somewhat mitigated by the fact that he’s done nothing since getting the bag in Tennessee,
But I think the Chiefs’ defense was really hurt by the L’Jarius Snead departure. He was great for them, and played a pivotal role in their success.
sometimes an uncapped razor fine line for a gm between personnel and personal
DJ Moore to Buffalo? Top 100 pass catcher.
24.5 million guaranteed this year and then a 2 year team option?
This is our year Dom!
Cam Jordan gonna hit the market - maybe the Saints might take their cap seriously this year
Heβs had a sneaky good career - doesnβt really get mentioned with the top pass rushers but 132 sacks is really something. Another really durable dude too
Iβd guess he can make some good money on a 1 year deal. Hopefully a contender gets him
Moore did feel like a tool that was valuable in spots but generally underutilized in Chicago.
Seems still like a lot to pay; sizable cap hit, almost 29 years old, sent a 2nd rounder. But health is a skill. He could be a decent payout still for the duration of his deal.
LOL
The report Iβm reading is that heβs guaranteed $47 m the next two seasons and then $15m of 2028
If thatβs correct then itβs basically 3/71.5/62
Mooreβs production dropped a ton last year but probably mainly from fewer targets so maybe heβs still got it. And heβs durable which is a thing
I knew you'd be along to set me straight. Thanks

obviously getting long in the tooth as 8x pro bowlers are prone to
will turn 37 in july
can any of you smarter saint bag heads help my understanding of his gap in production stats over the previous two years before his 2025 bounce?
first thought is gross misconduct of scheme misfit because he's been durable as hell and snap counts really didn't change

yeah, I noticed that too. weird
132 sacks is 22nd all time. An 8 sack season would get him up to 11th (although Von Miller currently on 138 might also play on and go higher up the list). Both of them are from the 2011 draft
Myles Garrett already on 125.5 sacks from the 2017 draft is interesting. If he stays healthy you'd imagine he can get to the top 5 - he's 30 and has averaged 17 sacks per season the past 5. 35 more sacks would get him to 4th all time, 48 more to 3rd all time
apparently 2023-2024 directly align with the tenure of joe woods as saints dc under the last years of dennis allen, who was swept up in the aftermath of violent toilet flushing and is now db coach for the raiders.
apologies in advance if i inadvertantly triggered any aints fans

You ain't REDeYeS enough to trigger any long term aints fans. They've had the major red ass since their inception!
I can't believe I'm the only one with a joyful heart that Matt Eberflus is now a vital part of the San Francisco 69'ers coaching staff. Everyone please join me in a hearty, with love, LOL SRM!
In what role? He going to be testing out the electrical station?
