good thing its beisbol season.
and Lamar is perpetually injured, meanwhile his backup is at least as good or 90% as good as him.
Ravens would be playing 4D Chess to trade him now....
Two of those guys have played in a Super Bowl and two of those guys haven't.
Sorry Liga
Still in a mild state of surprise. Ravens have always relied and invested in the draft heavily, to trade multiple firsts when they've never even traded one for a player is just wild. Guess it says what they thought of this years draft, particularly given it's tied for our highest pick since 2016.
Addresses most glaring need in a big way.
Rare trade where both teams objectively won
Huge get for the ravens. Costly, but a Super Bowl caliber acquisition if winters is all he’s been hyped to be
Meanwhile, the raiders aren’t half-assing and truly going to try to build around Mendoza. I love this for them
Sorry lig for so many reasons
Joe Burrow is the only thing keeping the Bengals from being the Jets.

If Crosby stays healthy. He played every snap on defense for most of his career. That's a lot of wear and tear.
did i hear correctly this is the first time in ravens history they have included a round one pick in a trade for any player?

My bet is Ravens conserve him a fair bit more than Vegas ever did. Not to become a totally situational or 3rd down rusher, but partly to give him some rest in advance of playing more than 17 games.

Yep. Have traded up and down within the draft but never sent a 1st rounder for anyone, ever, which is why this still feels so unusual.
Jordan Davis signed for 3/$78M with $65M guaranteed (I assume after his 5th year option). He was good last year. I'm not sure what this does to Jalen Carter who played 6 fewer games, but had more snaps.

Carter will be wanting more but it’ll be interesting if Howie tries to make him wait another year. Can’t imagine Carter will want that
I would for sure sign Aubrey if I was another GM of a contending team in the bottom half of the 2nd
Chargers giving Khalil Mack 1 year $18m at age 35 seems insane
