NCAA Hoops 2025-26 Season Thread: MARCH SADNESS FOR DUKE

First day was great until the nightcap. Today had only two games ever threaten an upset but at least some of the closer seeded games were competitive. Not quite an F for today, but probably a D-. Not great when the best game was the very first one.

Omigosh, is this the game where Petterson finally “gets it”???

That final score on the Uconn game does not show how much they suck. Harris Reed is superman, but Uconn is ****.

That's what I've been hearing about them. Overseeded and overrated.

I wouldn't say the final score masks anything. They were in a dogfight most of the game.

Coen Carr a one of a kind player. Outside of pros, no one punishes the rim like him. He could be a player of the year contender next year

Please review these career numbers and tell me what part of it gives you player of the year contender vibes:

He's a freak athlete and a tremendous dunker. And that's about it. He can't shoot, he's too short to guard bigs, he's not much of a creator and I can't say that I've ever heard him described as an exceptional defender. He'll score some as long as he's playing with an elite PG.

He did have a very nice first weekend of the tournament.

Vandy Nebraska game has been at least entertaining and even moreso if Nebraska loses.

Between that game and High Point giving Arky all they wanted a thoroughly entertaining evening.

Still can't believe that Vandy shot didn't go down.

Feel like this KU SJU game is going to be an all-timer for a different reason.

To be fair, I am entertained by this game. Super physical basketball can be fun.

Also still annoyed how they can never figure out this Sunday schedule. Should be wall-to-wall early on.
