I'm curious what they do with that tribe of 5 if they medevac Colby. They going to tribal with 4?

Before the medics have said to someone that was hurt - "it's up to you".

And then the tribe pulls a fast one and votes out coach. Would be epic

I stand corrected then. I guess the times where they've forced someone to leave have stood out more.

I believe what Colby is saying is that it wasn't optional and that he was essentially medevaced. The Tribal Council was just done for TV puroses.

Was he good until he fell in the challenge or was he already ****ed?

Not hating Oscar’s edit as a winner. Also Jonathan.

Didn't they force James out of Micronesia? I seem to remember him wanting to stay.

I remember sometimes medical has the final say if the injury is severe enough. But in other cases where there's no risk of permanent damage the player gets to decide.

Maybe I'm making it up?

Why didn't Christian and Devens try to get their idol back? Did they really think Aubrey would play it? This was the perfect spot to capitalize.

Who cares about Genevieve or Joe? I guess Devens was that paranoid he was happy to stick with going after one of them.

This is really the only thread I follow for Survivor, so this may have been discussed elsewhere. It was unlikely, because Christian and Aubrey probably both vote Joe.

But what happens in this spot?

Genevieve's SITD hits and she's safe.
Aubrey plays her idol.
Votes 4-1 Genevieve to Aubrey.
Revote
Only Devens and Joe can be voted for.
Now, Devens, Joe, and Genevieve don't vote.
Christian and Aubrey deadlock 1-1.
We go to rocks where tied players are immune.
Everyone else is immune too.

Also, you want to really pump the variance? They should have kept the same exact tribe split dynmaic for immunity and voting, but let all 15 particpate in tribal together, discussion and all before each respective 5 votes. Let people lobby for people in different voting segments. Lobby against people in others. No cross idols, though. Let's get the blood moon flowing.

Unfortunately this is the same answer which explains virtually every vote out in returnee player seasons

Rick Devens and Aubry are friends outside the game

I can't find the youtube or I'd link it, but someone suggested standard TC for all 15 and then Jeff says "Hold on, we're voting off someone else". Give a few minutes for scrambling, another vote off, then repeat

My God Coach is great television

Jonathan just owned Kamila and Dee back to back weeks! The ‘brain-dead challenge beast’ outplays the so-called ‘best of the new school players’. Love to see it

One kinda negative impact of shot in the dark - no matter what they build up in scramble and TC in terms of tension, once someone actually played the shot in the dark, you know it's over for them. There was a small part of me that thought coach might be in danger last night, but as soon as Dee played it, you knew it better hit or she was gone.

I dont think that’s always true but yeah it was over. I like that though, suspense is boring

Jonathan neck and neck with Oscar as far as winning. I think there were some good shots of Jon and Emily tonight. And if that’s not a dream goat to bring to the end.

Maybe Oscar and Jonathan do fire to see who cake walks some combination of Chrissy/Emily/Steph

He's amazing. In showing scenes for next week's episode, looks like we are getting peak COACH next episode where he's off by himself doing his rituals/flexing/yoga. That's when you know he's really feeling himself.

And maybe you will stop making unfounded/false derogatory statements about other posters ITT. Who knows?

I guess Devens and Christian really believed Aubry would play the idol last week, so they didn’t consider boomeranging it back. BBMY could be right it’s because her and Devens are friends, but Devens and Christian talked like they ****ed up.

Meanwhile, Aubry played it this week as some sort of badge of honor. What a waste.

I’ll miss Dee. She’s a good player.
