Or work at a bowling alley.

Nah, **** those guys and **** you.

Quit pretending you’re someone other than mongidig.

re 'Asians' and Garick you might know the reason for this....it seems the term is almost exclusively used these days to describe people from the Orient/East Asia - China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Phillipines etc.

Like...Asia also includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh to the sth, Russia, Mongolia Siberia etc all the Stans & then a tonne of countries that we know refer to as the Middle East - Iran, Iraq & then all the way until we hit the African continent - Saudi, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon etc

anyone know why it is that the reference has shrunk and doesn't include all the other Asians?

also, the letter d on my keyboar isn't working very often. Not sure if this shouln't piss me off but it really is

on instagram there's a viral video that's trending today of a chinese guy walking down the street in some middle eastern country with a cameraman and attacking all the people who use racial slurs on him

Guys who work out.

Today at my gym, all the treadmill machines were being used. Meanwhile there are miles of walking paths going right by the building.

Approximately half of USA is a public walking path. Much more if you ignore huge private lands only attended by drones. Fewer females showing off their asses out in the country fields though, minus the sheep.

I think my issue is that you need good lighting for a book. I can read my phone/tablet anywhere, anytime. My wife can be snoozing and I'm finishing that "last chapter".

Also reading a book is more constraining. Generally in a chair or sitting up in bed. Where I can read stuff on a phone on my side curled up under the covers.

While this may be true, it also fills in the having sex vs watching porn analogy.

I'm not a huge fan of Adam Carolla any more, but his line "sex is great, but nothing beats the real thing" cracked me up as a youngster.

This may not qualify because poker in OOT and it should piss off any normal person, but I really hate the guy who sits with his hands clasped in front of his cards and his chips at a poker table. No you’re not gaining an advantage by hiding your chips. You’re just being a pain in the ass.

I am that guy and it's just the most comfortable place to put my hands. I'm not trying to hide anything. I get scolded all the time for it and I try sitting up straight but it doesn't last long.

i don't mind them doing it so long as they happily lift their hands upon request

the issue is a lot of those people get very upset over that request - usually because after the 2nd or 3rd time i just go to hand motions to save time

covering cards though is a big no no for me - chips means it's a one off check for stacks, hiding cards screws up everything with people acting out of order and the dealer often not knowing the player is in the hand as well

I don't like Air BnB but I get that it can be good for big groups or whatever. Anyway, sometimes I travel with my cat, due to being a weirdo, and use them and it reminds me of why I don't like it.

This is in a ski resort town with almost nothing else in it. One place says pet friendly, then it says your pets have to be kenneled when the owner is not there. I don't even know what this means in this context. Lock them in a cage? Yeah, I traveled with my pet so I could lock her in a cage all day while I am skiing. It would be nicer to leave her in the car. My cat does of course have a carrier, but if you had like a lab, do these people envision you traveling around with like a 6x8 cage and carrying into the house and back?

The place I did choose had these signs about how the pets are not allowed anywhere, like on the bed. Great, I'll just set my alarm to go off every five minutes in case she gets into bed with me so I can throw her out. When I'm there and awake, I will spend my time patrolling the house to make sure she doesn't go on the furniture. Then when I ski, I will tie her to a sink or something. Very reasonable.

WWE Wrestling is being covered by Sportscenter? With long segments? And live on-site panels? And interviews with the wrestlers?

Terrible.

It seems like you're the problem and why the signs are there.

You can not allow pets in your place. That's fine.

Allowing pets, and expecting people to put them in cages all day or to telekinetically keep them off the bed is ridiculous.

More broadly, this stuff is why I prefer a hotel over dealing with some random person. A hotel knows it's a hotel. It doesn't sort of half think of you as a house guest and ask that you not take long showers or watch r rated movies on their TV or whatever.

I do respect the property of the air bnb person, but that is also part of the problem. If I wake up with a bloody nose or something , it's like or man.I hope I don't get any on these people's sheets. Oh no I did. I hope it comes out or they don't charge me or give me a bad review etc.

Maybe I shouldn't eat on the couch so I don't get crumbs in it...

I want to stay somewhere where my end of the deal is to pay, then not start any fires.

you're right, should not piss you off but does
problem easily solved by not staying at airbnb with a pet
you know what to expect yet choose to do it anyway for another reason to be grumpy about something

Most of them are normal. If pets are allowed, pets are allowed.

It was these 2 in one ski town that had bizarre rules.

I will credit the one that wanted you to lock your pets in cages all day for saying so upfront, but it is still kind of crazy.

I refuse to believe any of you actually think people do/should travel around with dog cages that they lock their dogs in whenever they are out.

I don't understand why people travel with their pets. So there's that.
