President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

a broken record of support for mass murder and conquest bc your team is doing it.

Didn’t you just get shown that defense spending went down under Obama?

defense spending was more in 2017 than in 2007 afaict from that graph. also Biden.

all that GENOCIDE yet here we are still stuck with you on earth

stay mad bro. your peeps will be in charge of the killing soon. then you can be happy again.

Prima facie it looks like they did cut defense spending. By the way, not all defense spending increases and decreases are built the same. Some significant portion of defense spending goes to salary/benefits, which Dems are more likely to advocate for. And does this graph include spending on war? Not sure.

I guess it makes sense since Dems seem to cut deficit spending more overall than the repubs. But they do it all wrong and start run away inflation everytime. So bahbah has told me.

social welfare cuts
import tariffs
gas prices
market volatility
press restriction
CFPB hollowing
tourism deterrence
police activity at churches and schools
undermining of judicial legitimacy
reversal of student loan forgiveness policies
cancellation of EV subsidies

it is exactly every day citizens that he has worked to imperil and undercut with every move he makes

What's funny is dude lives with a roommate in a shitty apartment with moldy walls in a tiny busto town no one has ever heard of and probably lives off government cheese, but Trump makes up funny nicknames.

It’s called “Peace through strength”. It’s working quite well I would say.

In what way?

Pentagon giant scam. Unauditable. Money flows out like the salmon of capistrano.

It's the swallows of Capistrano in my neck of the woods. (I live just a few miles south of San Juan Capistrano in the OC.)

In what way

Oil is significantly up, global chaos is significantly up and the strongest country on earth is subject to the momentary whims of a corrupt halfwit

The system works

That's the actual Dumb & Dumber quote

Raccoon Penis Collector Says Trump Is ‘Very Very Sane’

I may be relatively illiterate but I was able to read Project 2025 in 2024 and understand the implications better than you, or pretty much anyone else on this forum.

Not sure what you think your perceived intellectual superiority got you. A sociopathic narcissist president who may be the antichrist? Good job!

Not sure why you believe the bolded.

The lesson here isn't that people failed to realize the Project 2025 type risks of a second Trump presidency. At a general level, most Trump haters were aware of the risks, and most people like mongidig were cool with Project 2025 stuff.

You didn't need to be some sort of soothsayer to foresee that Trump would try to erode democratic norms in much the way he has. It was plain to see. A sizeable percentage of the country is on board with that agenda or at a minimum is unbothered by it.

This Wall St Journal article is pretty crazy

https://www.wsj.com/politics/national-se...

When they were trying to rescue the 2 downed airman aides stopped giving Trump up to the miunte updates because he couldn't grasp how operations like this work and his impatience was risking the mission.

As with the end of Trump’s first term, someone is going to have to clean up his mess. Going by polling and special election results voters don’t seem to be in the mood to just accept trump level incompetence as unavoidable.

Depends. If DEI stands for Delusional, Entitled, Insane - it's never been more alive.

Sharpiegate will always be the best case study to summarize how Trumpism works.
