Going to get this one in before we get an absolute tonking against a PL team on Saturday

Mansfield Town, Macclesfield Town, Bodo/Glimt and Southampton all have more wins over premier leagye opponents in 2026 than us.

by MindFckr

OPTA has us at 71.72% to win the EPL. That seems generous

LOL.

Sending in 97% of my net worth on City at that price.

Not sure any books take bets of $0.17 but I will try

by SootedPowa

Yeah it's complete bollocks. There's no set of inputs or honest "computer model" that makes Arsenal favourites now. It's just designed to get engagement on social media/clicks to rags wanting you to accept cookies. They should have started the post "Unpopular opinion" or "No Arsenal fan can scroll past without liking this". Everyone that will actually take money on it has

This is why I trust markets more than OPTA or any other stat department. That 73% will turn into 39% after City pump Burnley with another Haaland hattrick

It's this. Haven't found a single betting site who doesn't have City as favorites to win the Prem and they should be.

What if I said I thought it was a flip?

by MindFckr

I still cant wrap my head around this. Sure, Spurs suck, but I did not think the Maddison and Kulu injuries would completely cripple them to this extent.

Firing 3 managers quite quickly also did not reach the desired effect.

Having Kulu and Maddison back wouldn't make that much difference though. It's more the defence being crap.

You'd get a lot of posters wanting to bet on City with you.

City supporter here so I wouldn't take but I get your point.

Tougher fixtures, one more match, etc. Maybe not a literal flip but a QQ>AK spot

It isn't really the defense being crap in isolation, it's massively influenced by the lack of control and ability to progress the ball in midfield that in turn puts pressure on the defense.

That combined with insane inability to create.

Coincidentally you should check out the price and compare it to the equities in that situation!

You should be lumping like crazy on Arsenal. 2.32 on the exchanges.

Tonight’s lolsea is a sight to behold.

I mean this is just like the Port Vale, in the League One relegation spots, have more wins against Championship opponents this season than Wednesday do, only not as funny

Rosenior just chilling with the 6 years left on his contract.

rip lester

what an insane rise and fall

I didn't have Brighton leapfrogging Chelsea on my bingo card

It is amazing that next season will be ten years since they played Atleti in the Big Cup quarters, and Bromley were playing Lincoln in the National League. Now Lincoln will be a division above them and Bromley in the same one

Vardy/Mahrez/Kante really was a goated trio at the heart of that team.

Bookmakers still reeling from the effects of that one. Nobody is 5000/1 to win the Premier League anymore at the start of a season, which they were with the likes of lolbrokes.

They must be so thrilled they replaced Maresca with Rosenior 😃

Bet builder had Verbruggen making three saves and both teams to score. That's kind of difficult when Chelsea had as many shots on target in the game as I did

Mahrez might be the most untalked about baller of the last 15. That dude ****ed

also, looking like cardiff, swansea and wrexham will all be in the championship next season. get ready to learn welsh, buddy

The year is 1912 and major news of this year:

Titanic sunk on it's maiden voyage

And in sports news Chelsea lose 5 league games in a row without scoring.

The ante-post PL market is very small compared with the weekend markets. The big teams tanking meant overall the bookies cleaned up that season.

lol

I don't give a **** if they've got the greatest accountants in the world, at some point either FFP or money (not sure if the Saudis are done with sportswashing with the Liv gawf thing) have to become a problem.
