President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
lol white racism. not to say that ecriture's analysis isnt lol as well. he hates poor people as much as bahbah.
swap the demographic. nineteen posts about black urbans or jewish bankers or asian immigrants being the corrosive force on everyone around them. you'd be gone. the only reason you're still here is you picked the group the mods will let you hate out loud, and you've been cashing that in for a year
Uh pretty sure victor posted that every synagogue supports genocide and didn’t get even a warning, so no.
posting "white rurals are killing america" nineteen times in a year isn't analysis. it's racism. that's the word. you are a racist and you've built a posting identity around itswap the demographic. nineteen posts about black urbans or jewish bankers or asian immigrants being the corrosive force on everyone around them. you'd be gone. the only reason you're still here is you pic
His schtick is so transparent and embarrassing. Clearly a kid who grew up rural and got daily wedgy’s. He went to college and found some like minded effeminate dorks who taught him politics but he’s still bitter about his childhood of wedgys

If only you were half as concerned about the systemic, and widespread racism that's been going on for as long as this country has existed, including from our government (as well as supreme court). But, heh, white people need a voice, huh?

Its still racism, even if you use some tally system or institutional curve structure. Its the same mindset thats destructive.
We had a cabal of posters here (mostly white people) who loved to take turns blaming themselves for that righteous indignation from mostly other white people. It was pretty lame to watch and a lot of those poeple are doing very well mentally.
Im sure you'll still get a handful off whites telling RR how terrible he is. That will be funny too.

You obviously aren't keeping up. Our illustrious supreme court decided that it is perfectly OK for the federal government to round up people solely on the color of their skin, and that color ain't white. And, just this week they decided that state governments can draw away predominately black districts, effectively taking away their votes. This is racism at the highest level of our government. To somehow suggest that the only racism that exists, or at least is more prevalent, anymore is that against white people is absurd

this is a strawman attack, you can be assured if he were blaming the media jews or urban blacks 19 times a year i'd be calling him out as well, but i don't need to because they get perma'd the 2nd or 3rd time they say it
Urban blacks aren't responsible for the depths of hell that the US has been entering for decades.
My thoughts on this latest debate:
1) Statements akin to "white voters as a demographic are ****ing up the country by electing idiots like Trump" seem OK to me.
2) Statements akin to "rural white people are ignorant droolers who are too stupid to recognize their own self interest" seem reductive and pointlessly inflammatory.
3) Criticizing people for looking down their noses at the less educated or fortunate is appropriate. Criticizing people for wanting to be perceived as intelligent is silly. Part of projecting intelligence is taking care with how you analyze things and what you say. Those are habits we should want to encourage as a society.
Rural white Americans were propagandized into resenting the city folk that supplement their whole existence and somehow feeling a sense of entitlement from that dynamic.
The unfortunate reality is they should be lambasted endlessly for this. I'm absolutely sick of being the mature one after 10 years of watching these ******s chew off their own hand to blame the left. There has to be some accountability at some point.
Once they'd been abandoned by capitalism that whole demographic was a sitting duck for the far right narratives about immigration and blame, and it worked perfectly.
you are going to walk me through how Zionist synagogues dont support Israel.
Yes

it's not propaganda, it's a coping mechanism, nearly all blue collar culture is directly tied to coping around what they can't have
they can't afford the imported beer or car, so they proudly drink miller lite and declare that chevy is the best car on earth
they can't afford to go to college, so they form their identity around being a real man who works a real job that doesn't require an education but rather street smarts and grit
they see a yuppie throw out a tv that needs thirty minutes of labor to fix and think what a dumb yuppie, look how much better i am, i can fix this myself and get a perfectly good tv for free - when the truth is if they had unlimited money they'd have tossed it too and bought a nicer one
i grew up in an area where i was only one of a handful of white collar children, was regularly called a f@g because my dad didn't change his own oil, wholly ignoring that if their fathers had magical genies they'd never change their own oil either - even once they gain enough wealth to be able to afford to pay someone else to do that for them, they still have their identity tied to it, so even parents who themselves took their car to the mechanic for an oil change were sure to change their own oil at least once as a teaching moment for their kids so they grew up right as real men
i distinctly remember getting into an argument with my father over not teaching me how to change my own oil because even though i grew up the white collar son of educators, the inundation of hearing that every day from my classmates whose parents were landscapers and hvac repairmen seeped in strong and that culture stuck with me for several years
i ended up spending highschool and beyond surrounded by an entirely different group of people who grew up under very different circumstances and if i weren't plucked out of it, i'd still likely hold onto a lot of these notions, and fortunately for that, i was able to internally laugh out loud when i spend summers back from college with these people who asked me why i'd be stupid enough to go to school when i can just learn a trade like them instead
i often see my cousins, two kids who grew up similarly to me but stayed in public school and both went to umass instead of an elite private university, they're still both very successful people, one is a cfo of a manhattan firm and the other is a ceo of financial services business with over 400 employees - both still proudly drink cheap nasty beer and drive american cars, poking fun at me for wearing a polo shirt to a casual meetup and drinking whiteclaw (and before my celiac IPAs)
i'm one of the few here who's just as comfortable at the trailer park as the yacht club as a result - and i think it gives me unique insights into that - ironically, the real group i have very little understanding of is suburban middle class, that's something i'm rarely exposed to - coming to seattle was my first real interaction with that, distinctly remember dog sitting for a friend last year in the suburbs and having utterly no concept of what was ok or not ok while walking the dog, i'd only ever lived in and thus walked dogs in downtown cities or the middle of nowhere, i'd never before walked them where everything was curated lawns and would spend a lot of time watching other dog walkers like jane goodall with the chimps to see how they handled their dog when it inevitably needed to pee or take a dump

when i was living in the ozarks recently i'd see shirts like this quite often. and this is where the cope reveals itself - because the duttons are wealthy elite robber barons who corruptly control government to stay filthy rich at the expense of the working class. that should be the enemy. but it isn't, because the duttons are the fantasy
the cope works as long as you stay poor. miller lite is better than the import, the chevy is better than the bmw, fixing the tv is better than replacing it. but everyone secretly wants out, and the question is what does the escape look like. it can't look like the yuppie, because becoming him means becoming a f@g and admitting the whole identity was a cope. so it has to look like the duttons - rich, powerful, but still rugged, still on a horse, still punching people who need it. it's the only version of wealth that doesn't require them to renounce who they were
that's why the shirt sells in the ozarks. it's not aspiration to a character, it's aspiration to the only path to success that doesn't invalidate everything they've built their identity around
