President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
you're looking at this entirely assbackwards if you use money as the sole decider
money is a symptom not the disease
no it’s stolen valor. blue collar used to mean lower paid jobs and hard work. you’re literally invoking trailer parks, cheap chevies, and miller lite in this discussion. it’s obvious you want to associate it with people that are “ignored” and “forgotten” when they’re precisely not those people.
Rural white Americans were propagandized into resenting the city folk that supplement their whole existence and somehow feeling a sense of entitlement from that dynamic. The unfortunate reality is they should be lambasted endlessly for this. I'm absolutely sick of being the mature one after 10 years of watching these ******s chew off their own hand to blame the left. There has
Much of it is just natural. They’re just different people. The wedgy victim goes off to college and finds there place in the world, he isn’t one of them. It goes both ways. The job market sorts itself out by type, not upbringing
I don’t think rural folks are anymore propagandized to resent than the other side is to look down upon. The left used to be the champion of the working class but as you can see in general or here specifically with the wedgy victim, they look down at them with disdain. Two sides
These toothless hicks brought us Trump. They deserve our disdain. The working class were promised and were given a closed border. 10’s of millions of immigrants aren’t stealing jobs in tech or at the bank. It’s the working class. Their wages have been suppressed. Their neighborhood has changed.
Yes. This is just obvious. The left is more feminine. Look at a voting demographic voting map by sex. It’s all blue by women and all red by men. You can break it down even further by personality psychology and see the traits leading to votes and party. The same traits are more common in women than men. It’s just blatantly obvious. And the further left you go, the more prominent
The wedgy victim is a clear demonstration. He’s not some classic liberal. He’s demonstrating outright disdain for the working class almost every time he posts. It’s actually kind of funny how defensive men on the left get when these things are explained to them because many of them consider themselves male feminists, champions of equity, etc
“You’re stupid”
“You’re gay”
We’ve just summarized 90% of American political discourse

So the broke rural whites have been propagated and you want to lambast them and determine the proper accountability for them. What type of accountability do you personally deem suitable for those who were propagated into resenting city folk who supplemented their whole existence?
We've had the same accountability talk to that in this thread to help fuel the argument for pushing back and killing the Lebanese - literally the same **** from posters arguing for collective blame based on race and religion to help rationalize their own fears instead of actually addressing the forces influencing them. I guess we can just take Elway's approach and simplify things based on his preferred credentials and repeat that same kind

How exactly does an immigrant steal a job?

Accountability for voters is a nice idea for people who are not inside politics. For people in the business of convincing normal folks to vote for them, it’s best to avoid that kind of fringe political talk, unless you’re going to talk about accountability for politicians.
I don't understand why folks don't like trailer parks. I lived in one for several months and it was fine.
A co worker got a divorce and lost his house but kept his truck and some cash. He bought a 400sq tiny home that he can tow around the country with his F150 and he won't shut up about how he wishes he got a divorce earlier.

We are talking about accountability due to skin color.
Rick thank you for writing that out.
Under-received itt.

But I will say that I do agree with the claim, more than most probably, that voters should reap what they vote for regardless of whether they have been propagated and to what extent. But we are leaning heavily into the ideological conundrum there which is a very important distinction.

I know another person who moved into a RV and sells blu Rays and comics on whatnot for like 400 bucks a month profit and he wishes he had started that earlier.
The burden of being in debt and working for the man is real.
Broken clock...

To state the very, very, very obvious, the observation that women tend to vote blue doesn't lead to the conclusion that someone's political science professor in college very likely was "effeminate."

I would say they do.
to break the victim-FAFO-victim cycle requires acknowledgement and forgiveness on both sides of the perpetration
acknowledgement has to occur first but it is much more likely to arise amongst a general spirit of forgiveness
those truly motivated to repair the social divide have their solution
patience might be the hardest part, measured against strength of will

Who are the both sides here? Upper class non Trumpers are doing great. I don't need to forgive Cletus and big bertha from the trailer park because nothing they have done or tried is impacting me negatively. The victims of Trump are various lower income folks, some of which voted for Trump and that's who we are talking about.

People who support Trump because they see it as "manly" to do so is probably significant enough to matter politically. By extension, they start to see anything that is contrary to their ideal as "non-manly".
It is basically political peacocking.

Why do you enjoy putting people down who live in trailer parks?
What's your opinion of non-whites who live in trailer parks?
And what's this stuff about 'Big Bertha?'
p.s. I enjoyed living in the trailer park. It was fun.
