True..... the funny part is when people say "Sex is binary" forgot biology, they aren't even getting the binary part right. They are trying to say sex is "2 states, 1 bit" which is not even what binary means. If there are a 3rd or fourth gender, those are binary as well.....10 and 11. The argument from "it's common sense you're just making up a new definition for sex" and "well cultural conservatives aren't idiots no matter how much good evidence you have that they are" is really undercut when the meaning of binary is made up on the spot.

I'm still not sure what the point of the question was, but regardless of what it was, the question was directed to people here. Rick apparently doesn't believe that you have to be interested in dating a transgender woman in order to prove you are not transphobic. So what was the point? Was the hope that someone would give some version of the innocuous answer I gave and then the "liberals" would freak out and drag that person? Was the hope that one of the supposed "liberals" would go on a rant about how they thought transgender women were physically repulsive? Was the killing blow supposed to be the reveal that some people who are left of center apparently believe that you have to be eager to date a transgender woman in order to prove your liberal bona fides? Even if that is true, who cares? People say plenty of things, and it isn't anyone's job to defend every view of every other person who falls on the same side of an arbitrary line placed somewhere on a left-right political spectrum.

You made your post in response to a hypothetical scenario from juan in which a pre op transgender woman had sex with a man who was so drunk that he was incapable of realizing that his sex partner had a penis.
Unless we are talking about a clothes on blowjob, I don't see how such a scenario could occur unless the person was far, far, far too drunk to give consent.
In other words, you made your statement in response to a sexual assault scenario. The inference that your statement included sexual assault was not unfounded and should not have surprised you.
